Looks like you are right, Mark! This is direct link. €8.50 for the whole day pass - SFA appearing at 11pm ... I think its lights-out time at the youth hostel in Carcassonne then ;-( ENJOY! So you don't like fumbling about in the dark?

manulike Well in fact there is an easier way to attend Jolimont after the game. If you refer to the metro plan that you have post above, the better way is taking the metro in Empalot or Saint-Michel (Yellow/B line) and then you'll change in Jean-Jaures to take the red/A line to Jolimont. From the Stadium, it will take at least 20-25 minutes and it's much more appropriate than going back to Arènes. Many other people will take the metro and it will probably be jam-packed but for sure you'll be in Jolimont b-fore midnight. Hope i helped you steve I'm not aware of train lines to Lisle Jourdain but u seems to be right about Auch. Don't you have a chance to stay closer from Toulouse ?

See you all in Carcassonne. Two nights there before going to Toulouse. Yeah, me too. And we're staying there for a few days after. Sounds like there'll be a few of us. By the way we'll have two spaces in the car into Toulouse from Carcassonne on the day of the match, for anyone needing a lift. Not back unfortunately though - we're stopping over.

Hi French Guy, Thanks for the info, I am travelling with 2 children, a friend and his son, so it's camping and the site in Toulouse isn't supposed to be to good. We were told the park and ride in Arenes, but I have also been told it's quite a rough place, can you recommend somewhere else we could park with good links to the stadium and city?
Thanks

@steveevans What do you mean by rough ? I guess unsafe but i'm not sure haha ... Well, about the park, thousands of people will park in Arenes station to take buses so imo it will be a true mess over there. You can definitely park in Ramonville (Yellow line terminus) where there is a huge parking, from there, ur 12 mn away from the nearest stadium station (Empalot) and 15 mn away from the city center. There are also many underground car park in the city center but naturally you have to pay. Hope i helped you

I'll be driving in and out from carcassone for this match. Has anyone seen any details of how park&ride is going to work? Location of sites etc? It's getting to the point where this kind of detail would be helpful.

It's getting to the point where this kind of detail would be helpful. If I remember correctly, the train ride is only 35 minutes and costs about €12 ... Might be more simple staying put in Carcassonne...

Just to follow-up from French Guy's great advice, above, RE: metro after our game. The last metro departs at or just after mid-night. While in the system, you should normally be able to exchange to your final destination. I looked at the next two Mondays and last YELLOW METRO LINE B departs Empalot/St Michel at 00:04/00:05 and the last exchange at JEAN JUARES is at 00:14. Unless you are staying in the West of Toulouse or around St Cyprien - it may be better to avoid the Arenes junction... The stadium is fairly central, so after qualification, a lovely stroll along the Garonne might be called for ;-) This is an interactive transport advisor - www.tisseo.fr/en/interactive-map/
