Has anyone found out any information regarding this?
Tried UEFA and Bordeaux websites and no details for this.
I have an hour or so to get to the stadium from the airport, so cutting it fine to get there for kick off let alone the anthems.

Car hire can sometimes take longer than necessary at the desk with paperwork and that. I'd jump in a taxi if I were you. An hour to get there from the airport sounds like it's cutting it fine to me

He said it would be tight time wise, but I didn't realise it was that tight!

We are going to park at the stadium. According to the stadium website there are 8500 free car parking spaces.

Search for parking in this hideous faq page euro2016-faq.tickets.uefa.com/It says no parking at stadium, recommend public transport. Not sure who to believe. I'll be wanting to park too.

Sorry I didn't know about no parking on the day. 8500 spaces must be a vast area not to use!!
The people where we are staying are suggesting using the park and ride if can't get on stadium.

Seems daft both of you missing out on kick off.

Hi all i am new to this message board so forgive my ignorance if this question has already been asked a thousand times.
There are 5 of us flying out to Bilbao on the Sunday before the Russia game and travelling to Bordeaux on the Monday morning in a hire car (4 hour drive!) Obviously we will be having a few sherbets and trying to find somewhere to get our heads down for the night before driving back the next day, does anybody know if there is an official fan zone where you can camp or if there is any cheap accommodation.
Thanks in advance

we are landing in Bilbao on the Sunday morning from Manchester, hiring car and driving to Pau. 1 night in Pau then train into Toulouse the day of the game. X1 night in Ibis hotel in Toulouse then train back to Pau next day. Stupid prices being asked for hotels in host cities. only doing this one as 21:00 kick off time.

Seems daft both of you missing out on kick off. Panic over. I was using UK kick off time not European time. Lost lots of sleep over nothing. The extra hour should make a lot of difference if the plane is on time. I will be picking up his overnight bag before I go and will be taking it with me. Less hassle for him at the airport and ground.

hmmm after the Paris attacks, security could be extra tight. If there is parking near the stadium, then I would allow plenty of time.
My guess would be the whole area will be closed off though. You should at least find a backup plan. Maybe park in Ikea or around that area is an option? I would guess a tramlink would be within a 10min walk

We have now found an apartment in Toulouse city centre for 5 of us £34 a head per night so going to drive straight to Toulouse from Bilbao and stay for 2 nights

Bilbao is a great City by the way. Loads of tiny bars and a great footballing city
