You are not allowed to legally buy/sell football tickets on these ticket agent websites in the UK. However, I found a workaround if anyone needs it - using viagogo. At the bottom of the page, you can change your Region. Just set it to United States or something.
I'm not chancing the March/April portal being run FIFA, as I have my flight & hotel paid for! So just picked up 2x tickets for the match I wanted.
Cheapest tickets v Slovakia = £118 v England = £285 v Russia = £130
There is also Viagogo ticket fee on top (£15) + postage + vat. Quite easily add £30 on top. Cat 3 Slovak ticket has cost me just under £150.
Sorry if this post not allowed/grey area. Just trying to help.

Thanks for that, I kept getting "not allowed to buy in UK" but putting in united states shows me tickets available. Will tickets be posted to the UK or in France to your hotel a couple of days before, like many sites seem to do?

Can viagogo be trusted for football tickets? well, they guarantee tickets. This is the process from when looking at selling a ticket :- We collect your tickets When your tickets sell, we collect them from you via UPS, or e-ticket upload. You don’t need to meet the buyer - we handle the rest. www.viagogo.com/selltickets

Cheers for the tip re: setting location to US (also worked by setting to Ireland).
Is there any way of telling which 'end' the ticket will be in? Don't want to shell out big money only to find that I'm sat with the En-ger-lund fans!
