Anyone travelling by Car - two spaces needed. Tickets prices on train are through the roof - SNCF con merchants they've also removed the early train. so got no choice but to pay the maximum price, looking at close to £100+ return. I flew Bordeaux to Paris for half that.

Are you sure? If you log into SNCF the route isn't yet available, however if you say you are French (or any other nation other than British) you can book the route for around £70. I paid £50 last week as they reduced the price per person on a booking for 4 people.

If just this before as I think we maybe in the same situation....
We are flying into Paris from Bordeaux on the morning of game day and flying back in the evening. The only way to (hopefully) get back in time is by ordering a private transfer for 8 of us to Lens & back (as public transport won't get us back in time) which has cost me 700Euros. We still don't have any England tickets and if I cancel the car by mid may I get 100% of my money back so thats the cut off point for me to give up on the hope of seeing the England game. So the Plan B is, if we don't get tickets we will cancel the car and watch the game on the big screen in Paris and make a day of it there. I really don't fancy tossing off 700Euros to get to Lens to be stuck outside the fan zone with no where to drink or watch the game whilst dodging low flying plastic chairs and getting blasted by water canons ;o) But I dont mind the chairs, fists or water cannons if I've got a ticket.
I only have two England tickets at the moment but it's all for one and one for all is what we've agreed.

the extra trains that everyone who has been referring too are the ones which have been on sale since last year
trains coming on sale on 16th will be normal timetabled trains and from what i can see there is one more direct one up in the morning other than the two on sale now for 41 quid and the only ones back that are direct without change are the three on sale now varying form 23 to 35 quid one way
there will be ones with a change in arras come on on 16th
now they may lower these prices when they open the timetabled trains on 16th march but i would be on it quick on the 16 or someone may want to try and arrange a coach up and fill it with people on here

The remaining train tickets for travel on the day of the England game have been on sale since 11pm as its now the 16th in France. Just managed to get 5 from Paris arriving just after midday and returning just after 7 for a little over 46 euro's each. Availability seemed to be reducing as I was doing it though.
If your travelling by train on the Friday after the England game you need to getting tickets tomorrow after 11pm. Like this country tickets for travel on Fridays gets dear pretty quickly.

AAArgh. Just to agree with others; I'd advise getting on there sharpish as soon as tickets are available. For the two legs I am doing by rail there are now options at around half the price I paid only a couple of weeks back. As I say, aarghh...

Just booked Paris - Toulouse train for the Friday morning for £ 11.50. Not the TGV but direct and gets me in time to check in get to the fan zone for the Italy Sweden game. Fair play the travel has worked out really cheap. Eurostar to Paris, train to Bordeaux, train back to Paris, Lens and back to Paris on the day of the game. Train to Toulouse on the Friday and flying back to Stansted on the Tuesday allowing for a hold bag. I've got change out of £ 230 quid.

I'm considering running a coach. It will leave Paris at 10.00 arriving in Lens at 13.00 near the ground and returning at 18.00 back to Paris for 21.00. It works out at £50 return each. If anyone is interested, let me know asap and I'll get it booked.

As soon as I get it full I will book it and arrange the pick up point in Paris.
