Bordeaux flights info / required

managed to get 2 tickets for the Slovakia game for myself and my 12 year old son ,looking for any flight cancelations or info on travel

Depends where you are flying from and what dates you are looking at and you're budget?

Have you tried www.skyscanner.net ?

There were flights from Cardiff/Bristol but these were approx £400 return each.

Other option is to fly from another UK city to somewhere like Toulouse and then travel once in France.

You could also get a ferry and drive down.

My mates are flying from Bristol into Bergerac with Ryanair on the day of the game and then flying back on the Tuesday.

The return airfare for two is currently coming in at approx £500.

You then need to take the train to Bordeaux (Direct) from Bergerac.

You can still get 4 night packages with Brittany Ferries including accommodation nearish Bordeaux for £350 all in... just provide car, fuel and tolls. This is what I'm doing.

I booked a flight on Sunday- Stansted to Tours (£54) then train from Tours to Bordeaux £19 (2 hours) (travelling Friday 10th)

Ryan Air from East Midlands to Limoges. Hiring a car. Bordeaux is about 120 miles drive. Staying in France for the group games

if your not the worrying type, there are flights from london stanstead to bordeaux which arrive 2 1/2 hours before kickoff, return on the monday at 10;30 am. £466 return for the both of you. hand luggage is free. taxi to stadium is aprox 20mins on a good day, but the first taxi is mine!!

if you stay the week the return fare is £356. just need a couple of grand for accommodation and beer.

I don't think his 12 year old son will be drinking that much beer! ;-)

What time do you arrive in Toulouse on the Friday? We land 11.30ish.  Still undecided on whether to hire a car for the weekend (much cheaper option) or take the train.

12-40 French time .. We are catching the 16-05 train up to bordeoux arrives 18-13,.. £15,each
