Hi,
It still feels too good to be true, Wales are going to compete in a major championships for the first time in my lifetime, I am going to the opening game in Bordeaux on the 1220 flight from Birmingham, I had a great price of £203 including insurance, returning the same day at 2130, BST, into Birmingham.
If anybody would like to share my 8 seater Taxi that I will driving from Swansea to Birmingham on this day, I will probably leave Swansea at around 0700, picking up in other parts of South Wales en route if need be, all I would ask is some monies to cover fuel and parking at Birmingham Airport.
If anyone requires being taken to the airports or the train stations, let me know on here and I will see what I can do for you in my 8 seater taxi, eg I took a family of 6 from Swansea to Cardiff Airport last week for £120 return.
Do miss writing on here, the doom and gloom of the latter years of John Toshacks reign seem a lifetime away, but looking back it was not all that bad because we knew we had a young emerging team and that things could not get much worse, what frightens me know is what is on the horizon post 2020 when the current squad age and crowds drop as has been the case in the past, I hope crowds don't drop but history tells me that we don't have the hard core of Scotland or Eire.
If need be email me at donmurray96@hotmail.co.uk with your requirements.

To get that price, you must have booked that flight within minutes of the draw being made! I'm on that flight out (returning on the Sunday) and it cost me £247 return. 30 minutes after the draw, return flights were £300+ what frightens me know is what is on the horizon post 2020 when the current squad age and crowds drop as has been the case in the past On the positive side, it means that flights to away games will be reasonable again........

We are on the same flight although we have booked train tickets to Birmingham Airport for £27.00 single (that is for both of us) may get the same deal check as it may be cheaper for both of you (Our's are from Taffs Well).
Why I posted do you want to get together for a taxi in Bordeaux from airport to stadium?

Is that flight leaving Bordeaux at 2130 on the day of the match? Ko 1800, so final whistle will be at around 1950... I'm guessing check-in closes at 2045... That's going to be cutting it fine!
