We have 4 Cat 3 tickets in the Wales (yellow) end and would like to swap them for the England end (blue).
Anybody looking to do the opposite??

This worries me. How are England fans getting hold of tickets in the Wales end?

This worries me. How are England fans getting hold of tickets in the Wales end? I might be wrong but I doubt that these tickets are in the designated Welsh end behind the goal. He's probably got these tickets in the resale portal and are in the stands on the side of the pitch but in the same half as the official Welsh end. There was a Welsh guy on the English board yesterday asking to swap because he had tickets through the resale portal which were in the England half. Again they weren't behind the goal where the England fans will be but were on the side of the pitch but in their half. From what I understand the stands on the side of the pitch are classed as neutral areas. The 6,000 tickets that each FA received are located in the stands behind the goals - this is what I've been told anyway.

I'm fairly sure that Cat 1 and Cat 2 purchased through the FAW or English FA are not behind the goal but are in the stands on the side of the pitch.

They are in the same stand as the tickets bought from the Welsh FA. Got them in the first public ballot. They are in Block 1.3 of the Delacourt stand

They are in Block 1.3 of the Delacourt stand I'm sure I saw yesterday there was a Welsh guy on the England Supporters Club forum trying to swap tickets in the England end. Perhaps it's worth you having a look there.

That was me and i've agreed to swap my mates tickets (Block 3.6) - side stand although towards the Wales end for his tickets which are located in (Block 1.7) right in the Welsh End behind the goal. (Bit concerning though that his tickets are from the FAW!!)

UEFA must have sold some Cat 3 and 4 tickets to neutrals so it sounds like it won't just be Welsh fans in that stand.

What is niggling me though is that his initials are also CB? but he claims not the same poster as on here?

It does worry me what could happen if England score and one of their lot jumps up. I reckon there'll be a few in our end.

My mate couldn’t go, so gave his ticket to another ‘supporter’. Evidently the supporter sold his ticket to an England fan. I can remember England almost scored and the England fan next to me naturally leapt out of his seat. He suddenly realised what he had done and where he was, so then shouted in a dodgy Welsh accent “sort it out keeper”! He was literally sat on his hands for the rest of the game!

The Delacourt stand is where the majority of Welsh supporters will be, but there will be just as many non Welsh fans in that stand, the same applies at the English end of the stadium...a bit like Fulham where they have a neutral end next to away fans...It faces the Trannin stand and houses the administrative offices of the club. The stand was rebuilt in 1996 and can house over 12,500 spectators we are expecting over 5,000 Welsh fans in that area.
Segregation is not something UEFA are keen on and most stadiums give access to most parts of the ground with Lens being the exception of having 4 separate stands...there is no segregation outside in the streets, on transport hubs etc. It is seen as a festival of football but be aware there will be heavy security and policing throughout the tournament, anyone looking to cause problems or trouble will be severely dealt with in France probably by the feared riot police and face repercussions on their return to their home countries.

Corky, do you know which stand the Welsh fans with Cat 1 and 2 tickets will be situated in. I've got Cat 2 GREEN STAND, GATE E, 0.1, I think this is in the MAREK stand but not sure - have you had a definitive stadium plan from UEFA?

Tickets are not from the FAW got them in the first public ballot. Stands will be mixed anyway as some of you have said, just thought it would make sense to swap with 4 Wales fans in the same position!

No idea mate only that there are 4 seperate stands not connected by concourses, mostly England behind one goal mostly Welsh behind the other, CAT 1 and 2 will be on the sides of the pitch normally with the cat one nearer the half way line but even that is not 100 per cent certain but that is what the idea is.

My tickets are green stand, Gate E, Block 0.1, Row 11. Looking at that stadium picture the closest I can see to row 0.1 is 1 in the Tony Marek Stand. Which by the looks of it is gonna be right next to the main English stand.....

Cheers corky for your reply.
Winnie, I agree, I think 0.1 may be right next to the England fans. We are in row 3, so if you are in row 11 there should be quite a few Wales fans down there.

Hopefully there is a load of us down there, strength in numbers and all that, can't help but think it would of been a better idea to have some sort of segregation, like putting the cat 2 tickets either side of the Wales end in the corners, all this mixing of fans just don't sit right with me not just that there could be trouble but just makes for a shit atmosphere as well!

I remember when we played them in Cardiff. Joe Cole scored & some fan stood up & cheered. He got a size 10 in his back off someone... and you know how steep them stands are in the National Stadium! Don't think he made it back to his seat.
