Was listening to BBC Radio Wales this morning and they were talking specifically about the expensive France flights for Euros. Were suggesting chartering the entire small business jet - 6 or 12 seater. Either adding yourself on to an existing group or renting the whole thing yourself. Id pay £300 and reckon I could get 9 others to join me to take us to Nice and back to my to our own schedule. and timetable. The higher costs Id incur in extra travel would be offset as I wouldn't need a hotel for the night....If its £3k for a return journey that is and not a single flight. |

They actually gave Cardiff to Nice as an example when quoting that price!

Guess I'll be calling Wonksheep when we qualify.
I asked for cost options for return flights from Cardiff to Paris, Nice & Lille
Go on guess what the prices ranged from
Noddy Badge to the closest lol

I asked for cost options for return flights from Cardiff to Paris, Nice & Lille Go on guess what the prices ranged from Noddy Badge to the closest lol Guess it depends on the size of the aircraft. I would guess part of the issue would be the plane's location & would need to reposition first. So you would probably pay for that. Then you got landing fees, airport taxes. Sprinkle some VAT on top... £20k? The cheap prices would be for those to fly on the empty/repositioning legs. |
