If your thinking of taking flags to the games but they aren't fire retardant you need to get them done as UEFA say the stadiums need a fire retardant certificate before you can take them in. I bought some flags to take to France and got mine done at Flame Protect in Abertillery. Worth every penny and they give you a cetificate as well. Got to print them now and then cross fingers that I can get them into the game.

Only if it oversize, I.e. over 2m x 1.5m

so if 2m x 1.5m or less you dont need to get checked?

All flags will need fire certificate or something sewn on the flag proving it is fire retardant...if the flag is bigger than 1.5m by 2 m you will need permission to take it in but it still needs fire resistance...contact me if you have a large flag with proof of fire retardant and I will send your request to UEFA...The deadline has now passed but if you do it by the end of Wednesday I will sort it.there is no guarantee though

Cost me £60 (including return delivery,then they email the certificates over. The flags are 5ft X 3ft, so if my metric to imperial conversion is right they should be OK size wise. I assume I won't need permission Corky? If not how can I send the certificates to you?

You should be ok mate but take proof of fire cert.you never know what will happen at the search areas but you have done everything correct
