Positive thinking about getting through to R16 -
MEGABUS Friday 24th travelling from loads of UK towns overnight to Lille, arriving 04:40 Saturday 25th and returning 01:45 on the Monday... price is around £50 - £60.
You can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers £25 of vouchers = £50 off Megabus
It's cost me £2.50 to get out there from Birmingham!
Lille to Paris £5.50 again on MEGABUS, in Paris for 08:45.
Lille to Lens on the train 16.60 euro return
....and now to cover options to Nice!!!

Ryan air From Brussels-Charleroi to Marseillaises Dept 0645 Arrive 0825 is only €25 Train from Marseillaises to Nice is about €10 although you can get a FlixBus From Marseillaises Airport to Nice at 3pm for €5... You can, of course, just use EasyJet from Paris or from Lille TO NICE for about €75 ... but that is too easy (jet) Nice Youth Hostel still has spaces for 27/28 June - www.hihostels.com/hostels/nice-camelias#price |

cheers- Paris Hotel F1 £65 for the Saturday & a 2 star hotel in Nice on the Sunday £60 - both with free cancellation up to check in! Happy Eric & his (a lot) older brother!
