Preston have just bought Louis Moult, wouldn't want to see him go there. They don't have a great set of players on the wings though. Fans don't rate Callum Robinson or Maguire, Horgan is average. Thought Moult was more of a striker anyway? Preston will be hoping Bodin can be a replacement for McGeady last season. I see Bodin as more of a striker though. If anything he's very similar to Moult.

Good luck to him, it's certainly going to be a step up in quality so hopefully he can rise to it.

Let's hope he does well as any attacking options, are welcomed
I suspect like Bradshaw he will fall short of international standard.

Bodin opens his account for Preston!
Dark horse for the China squad?

Great to see him getting regular games at Preston.
Must be pushing for a place in the squad but instead of who. He is nearly 26 and has competition from much younger players like Wilson, Woodburn and Brooks.
He may make the China squad if we have a few drop outs

Of the fringe players who has done enough to stay in the squad for Mexico, I expect it will be a smaller squad. Evans and John have done well As has Wilson. It will be interesting especially with a few players coming back into the picture.

Would have brought Mepham on for Williams today tbh, couldn't have done worse. Dec John was pretty good. Adam Matthews did pretty well when he came on too.

Agree all with that but particularly impressed with the few minutes from Connor Roberts. That cross he put in at the end was unbelievable. We seem to be blessed with a number of gifted slight players coming through. We could do with a few more like Ampadu who have a bit more strength though. Of all the current crop of youngsters who do we see playing their part in the premier league 2 years from now as we run into 2020 ? It could be our best yet with Bale, Ramsey, Allen, Davies and Chester still young enough to make significant contributions.

Thought Bodin offered little when he came on
Would not surprise me if that's his only cap.
Hopefully he can continue to improve as he looked way off today

Unfortunately that wasn’t a debut to live long in the memory, a lot of our moves broke down when they got to Bodin. Could be a one cap wonder.

A bit OTT given that he had less than half an hour on the pitch. It also ignores the fact that he made a beautiful disguised pass that created a dangerous opportunity. It's ludicrously early to form any sort of fair-minded opinion on Bodin.
Having said that I think we could have done with a speedier, more technical player to link play against a physically powerful, but perhaps ponderous Uruguayan defence. Woodburn would have been my choice to come on.

Personally, I not sure Billy Bodin going to turn out what we hoped by time next quals, hope he does well but think he will be way down pecking order. We will certainly have a lot of forwards playing at top clubs. I see quite a few young Swans players having good careers at club and Country by 2020 besides Roberts and Dan James, like Rodon I think might start Swans matchday squad break through next season. Cian Harries is defo knocking on door imo, as is Aaron Lewis, think Swans academy provided over 8 players for the recent internationals. Rabbi Matondo looks an exciting player, that I think might have to go on loan soon as chances at City are minimal, but could certainly get a Wales squad place. Hopefully Tyler Roberts will get over injury ok and start scoring and sending Giggs a message.

After is more likely Who are the 8 from Swansea in the China Cup by the way?

He's hinted as much I know a few of the guys who played with him at Cardiff and there's two things each says which is that Spence is better and they reckon Matondo would pick Wales. However this may have changed since moving to Manchester City
