I'm thinking of hiring a car to get from Charleroi Airport to Lens on the day of the Wales v England match.
Looks much easier and less hassle than the public transport options.
Would anyone be interested in sharing and splitting the costs? I'm happy to do the driving.

Already have. No problems.
Most car rental firms are cool with cross border within the EU.
It's about 1h30m from Charleroi to Lens.

You helped me with the booking. But I'm starting to think it will be less hassle to hire a car. Coaches go to Lille not Lens. So then there's the hassle of getting to Lens by (very busy) trains on the day. By my reckoning, the timings will be cutting it very fine for me. Not to mention getting back to Lille from Lens. It'll be worse than Cardiff Central on (egg) match days. |
