Having finally bit the bullet and purchased a vastly overpriced England Wales ticket it has occurred to me that the number of tickets being sold with Restricted view is excessive. Is Lens footy pitch in the middle of a forest with varied seats behind trees?
What is restricted view in reality? Even the Vetch didnt feature a restricted view
Lille also features Restricted view option!

My understanding, from reading other people's posts elsewhere, is that restricted view at Cat4 (€15?) are extremely restricted and are usually the first three rows behind the goal and the upper-most three rows behind goals, where the banners/Ad-boards are. So can be up to 30-40% restriction. Cat3 RV (€40?) are the ones next to the gate entrances at all levels - generally 20% restriction. Most people say that Cat2 RV can just mean as little as a handrail in front of you. Cat1 RV are usually the lower most 3-rows, so the restriction is simply the billboards/fence.

Talking of restricted view, I had an eye test today. £21 ! I'm sure the last one I had was only £10 about 3 years ago. And isn't it ironic that there's restricted view seating in Lens!?

Indianapolis Colts Stadium To be honest, I'd rather watch those two pillars for five hours rather than watch a game of American football.
