Anybody booked on the Slicox Coaches from pembrokeshire. looks like the company has gone bust, 4 of us booked for the Wales v England 4 day trip, no doubt a full bus will be as dissappointed some with tickets, hoping to retrive some money by the time the game comes to get us lads out there ASAP

So sorry to hear that. Eurolines (Natioanl Express) are offering a Bus from Cardiff to Lille on 15th (Dept 4pm arrive Lille 4am match-day) for £50. If you can get yourself cheaply to London Vitoria for 9.30pm on 15th, the fare from there is only £20 - but there justmight be more white shirts than red ones on that one... www.eurolines.co.uk/en |

Thanks for the info, its all dependant on if we are getting a refund as money will be very tight as we payed for the trip over a few months while saving beer money & extra just incase a ticket or two becomes available on the day, last option will be same day flights to paris and watch in fan zone before heading to NI game and fly back late that evening, but doubt we will get refund that quick. They are now saying trip might be on and ring back Friday which i think is rather late, could be a last minute search to get to France, just want to get the Euro atmosfear somewhere i suppose.

If you are going to NI v Ukraine game for sure, I have a spare Cat2 that I am offering for £40.
If I can't offload it in the next few days, would you care to take it with you and try and make someone happy over there?
Will only expect payment in that case, if you do manage to sell it on.

I don't think Silcox have gone bust (yet). They are sailing close to the wind but are for sale as a going concern according to the local press.
if worse does come to worse surely it is ABTA protected?

they have told us to ring back Friday for an answer, but when i first rang 9am Tuesday morning i was told the trip had been terminated, i got hold of the Bonded Coach and they said they would get back to me, in the mean time a mate of mine rang to see what answer they would give him, he was told to ring back Friday for an answer. Bonded got back to me and said they have not file for administration but that does not mean your trip will go ahead. Question is if it does go bust i very much doubt we will get a refund in time to make other arrangements or if the company is bought will they honour the trip, Anyone had dealings with a case like this and know how long the cash would take to get back to us if they do go bust Friday?

Situation is bleaker than they are making out then mate. Sorry to hear that. Do do you have legal cover on house insurance or car insurance? If so ring them for advice. My best advice would be email Silcox and ask for refund. And send a claim in writing to Bonded Coach. |

Been in contact with both and both has said they can not do nothing until they file for administration, looks like a very stressful waiting game, and hope they can find a buyer that will keep the trip going either way i will update here on Friday

we kind of beat the middle man, we contacted the hotel we were booked in and they have confirmed the Slicox group has cancelled in their booiking in full, but yet Silcox even tho i have questioned them on this will refuse to say the trip has been cancelled all we get is them reading off a letter from the computer and to ring back 11AM on Friday, im guessing its Cancelled. looking for other options starting now.
