Aye definite blow, Ribeiro is a real talent, not seen that much of Wilson, but the couple of links to Prem clubs have been encouraging and Coppell seems to rate him. Not sure how long they're out for, anyone know?

makes you worry if ribiero will ever be free long enough from injury to make it to the top.

I really hope Ribeiro will be injury free long enough to reach his potential, because his potential is huge. Think its more of a blow for our u21 prospects than senior team in the short term though. I'm sure he would have been one of the 1st names down on the team sheet for the u21s if fit. I don't know what Coppell is getting at though, because I'm certain that Flynn and Toshack wouldn't have risked him in friendlies if they'd know his injury problems could resurface.

On teletext yesterday Steve Coppel was claiming it was his 45 minute appearance for Wales against Croatia that is responsible for his injury, not any of the games he played for Bristol City.
Never fails to amaze me this blatant "I don't want my players playing for Wales attitude" from English league managers.

Agree with this - and up to the players to stand their ground against these type of people if we are to succeed.
