Is anyone going to Llanelli for this glamour tie on aug 11? Tickets on sale apparently £10 adults £5 kids. Good for me as it's only down the road but I'm a bit surprised they didn't take this to the racecourse up north.

Shame it's not at the racecourse- really hope the FAW isn't forgetting about the fans in North Wales. The sooner the racecourse is up to the required standard to host competitive games, the better. We have such a good record there.
Enjoyed the trip to Parc Y Scarlets for the Estonia game last year though- my first trip to the town. I just hope the attendance is a bit better this time around.

Should hopefully be a good one to watch, tickets reasonably priced too. As a resident of Cardiff I'm much happier to see it in Llanelli than Wrexham, no offence to the north Walians of course. I'll try and be there to see it.
Hopefully we play attacking football and don't take it too seriously. At the end of the day we're not going to learn too much from the game as Luxembourg are very different to all our opponents in the qualifying group, but nonetheless a good chance to put on a show for the fans. A 4-2 win would be about right.

Eastwood would be a serious call for me. He's one of the (admittedly not great) options we have in that position, and along with the likes of Morrison and Evans needs to be looked at to assess his recent progress. We more or less know what Vokes and Earnshaw are about, Ched I've yet to see anything really from in a Wales shirt, except that goal he scored against Iceland with a cheeky backheel.
We should give each of Eastwood, Morrison and Evans 30 minutes against Luxembourg.

The player that needs to be thrown in against Luxembourg in my opinion is Adam Matthews. I am a Cardiff fan so i've seen plenty of him (except for the latter part of last season...where was he?) Imagine Gareth Bale in his Southampton days, but playing on the right! We could have 2 of the best full backs in the World very soon, and I think the qualifying games in 2010 need his pacey runs, balancing out Bale on the left. He'd be an unknown against teams like Montenegro / Swiss.....chuck him in now!

I thought the racecourse was still OK for friendlies? (I accept it's not up to standard for competeive games, but hopefully that will be rectified in the next few years)

'playing' in the prem? he hardly PLAYED for Blackpool in the championship last year, so I really doubt he'll get much prem playing time.
