A wave of touts have come on here in the last 24 hours offering tickets to Saturday's game at multiple times the face value - and yet people are still offering them silly money! Why is this the case?
UEFA will release more tickets to Saturday's match on their ticket portal once our opponent is known - today they sold Spain V Italy and Switzerland V Poland - at face value (significantly cheaper than what the touts are asking). Buying from UEFA also stops encouraging the touts and will discourage them from ripping you off in the future. If I had tickets I no longer wanted, I wouldn't expect prospective buyers to pay for my flights too, after all.

I appreciate what you are saying, although i'm not sure some fit the 'tout' label. I purchased tickets for Saturdays game as a gamble it would be England (i momentarily forgot that we are complete cr4p). I still have all of my travel and accommodation booked so i could still go very easily as a neutral, but why should i be stood there when a passionate Welsh bloke can watch his team?! So all of the 'ban the ticket sellers!!' posts baffle me to be honest. No one knew what games would be played so everyone took a gamble with tickets, its not like i was buying Justin Timberlake tickets.
For me personally, i simply want to recoup what i paid and use that money to go to Nice to watch England get beat by a mediocre side as always.
NOTE: I do accept that some people are on here charging ridiculous prices to rip you guys off, that is not cool. We're all footy lads supporting our country, so lets not be w4nkers about it. Charge what you paid.

Charge what you paid. I understand that position, but ultimately if you're trying to get rid of your tickets you should only try to recoup money on the tickets, not on the entire trip. Maybe others would want the hotel instead, for instance, and you wouldn't charge them an excess on that too. You may have spent a fortune for your ticket from a tout and trying to make your money back, but remember, two wrongs don't make a right But, as you say, that's not a patch on some of the people I've seen who are not just trying to get rid of now-useless tickets but are just trying to make a profit. Ultimately face value is a good rule, especially when UEFA are about to release a load more tickets in the next 24 hours.

I have already offered my hotel to a few Welsh fans at no personal gain to myself, infact i have free cancellation up until tomorrow, so i have offered to call the hotel myself and tell them i am cancelling but this guy wants the room (to save someone taking it).
My only point is, not all of us are here to rip you off, i would gladly go out of my way to help you out and i know many other English lads doing the same with their tickets over in Paris right now.
