Just saw on Sky sorts news that French traffic control are due to go strike tomorrow and until the early hours of Wednesday morning flights from Gatwick Bristol and maybe Cardiff 150 flights in total could be affected

I had an SMS off Easyjet about 15 mins ago to say my flight from Luton late tomorrow afternoon is not affected......as yet. Hope thus stays the same.

Check again mate, Lyon airport arrivals says the 1420 arrival from Luton is cancelled.

In airport now and the flight to paris is cancelled Geneva flight ok at moment

Flew Luton to Paris Orly this morning. Just over 2 hour delay but got here in the end.
Saw about 6 morning flights to France cancelled. Arseholes

Was bricking it last night and this morning. Thankfully flight just about to take off on time.
Noticed a Marseille flight was cancelled earlier, 2 friends are going to Lyon via Marseille tomorrow, fingers crossed for them and everyone else.

The Air France pilots stuffed us up after Bordeaux, now the ATC have done the same. After the whole world rallied behind them after the Paris attacks, I sometimes wonder why we bother with the French.

I once worked for a big firm with sites all over Europe. The French were the most inconsiderate gits, ie insisting i was there for a 9am meeting which meant travelling out the day before, then would waltz in an hour or so late.
The Germans however were top blokes.

Cheers, flight left on time sadly without me on it managed to pick up the wife's passport by mistake, on my way to Birmingham to go through Brussels instead, going to be an expensive day

Today's drama is on Eurostar where a 90 min delay in the tunnel led to a train-full of Welsh fans missing their connection at Gare de Lyon in Paris.
Rather than accommodate these fans on the next service, SNCF were going to let an empty train leave instead, leading to chaotic scenes with Riot Police involved.
SNCF claim that nobody from Eurostar informed them of this scenario, regardless common-sense really should have prevailed.
The French 'organisation' of this tournament & of their country in general is sub-standard.

Yes, I was on the Eurostar issue today. Real mess at Paris gare de Lyon, chaotic scenes. I managed to get on train, hope others did. Still in Lyon now.
