Hi everyone
What an amazing five weeks that was?
I reckon it's taken me a month almost to have it sink in. I made 4 games and missed NI and Portugal, I was primed for the final and probable divorce if we made it.
It was all s highlight really, Bordeaux was surreal and emotional at the same time. What an amazing sea of red!
Lens was interesting and the loss and the fact I got lost post game(sorry tony) made it easy to forget
Toulouse was just sweet. To play them off the park like that was a realisation that we had arrived.
Lille was a dream almost, never did I really think we would do that and when we went one down, well u simply thought it was over. But then they showed us all that this is no ordinary group of players. What a response, I'm still singing the manics Hal Robson Kanu chorus everyday
I watched the Portugal defeat back in Wales.....not sad, but drunk and so so proud.
Big thanks to Bluetone who opened up his group to include me and also helped with ticket for me, a top bloke.
Thanks to anyone else on the forum that has given me advice and help, your all good people
So now to Russia, do I really want to fly all that way again? Do I really want to go there and risk the violence that may come with it? Do I really think we can qualify again?
Of course I do and we definitely can

From my knowledge of the Russian folk, 99.9% of them will gladly offer you their very last crumb of bread or drop of vodka. The other 0.1% are not really that interested in picking fights with singing, happy, bouncy cheerful "friends of Gareth Bale" - they much prefer to pick fights with miserable, sad low-lifes like themselves ...

mark my words we judge the English like it was there fault, Russians attack at whim, we will then defend ourselves and get bad press. they were run like a military operation and putin was proud. russia are a disgrace band from Olympics Putin again claiming discrimination .Russians are some of the rudest people on earth i know in uk we have problems criticizing any other culture apart from are own duty to lefties crying racist or 99 percent are all good its just not the case, russia will be violent and a good number will be in hospital before during and after a game im afiard .

The reason why the Russians picked on the English was that they had already caused problems in Marseilles with the French police, throwing plastic chairs and bottles , abusive to passers by and were generally loud and obnoxious. Add all that to previous misdemeanours by England fans over the years and you've got your reasons.

Regardless of how 'professional' the Russian mob were etc, they would not have attacked the English were it not for their prior actions and long standing poor reputation. While it's true that not all English are horrible, their section of obnoxious sneering middle aged fatties had it coming quite frankly

keep that in mind when are good support gets harmed and we get bad press for defending ourselves, russians attacked french police english teamed up with muslims , and were alsp racist against others, teamed up with northern africans to fight the english . russia has corrupt police and a corrpt deluded leader , it will be very dangerous to travel .

Aye, more dangerous for some English fans, particularly when their national press print shite like 2000 English hooligans planning revenge on Russians in WC 2018...

What we've got is a positive reputation with the worlds press which wouldn't change if we had to defend ourselves against hooligans supporting a country who suffer from a poor reputation with the worlds press , ie. Russia, England etc. The English reputation continues to be in the gutter because of continued obnoxious behaviour by some of their fans , it's as simple as that.

Footnote: no problems between Welsh and Russians in Toulouse ..... Do the maths mate
