i voted for labour.
labour's leader is an arrogant, touchy, egomaniac, who struggles with the media.
but he is the best option we have.
ring any bells?

I voted Monster Raving Looney.
They act like kids, pull off the occasional upset, but never have chance of winning anything, and used to be led by a bloke called Lord Buckethead.
Ring any bells?

Voted Liberal Democrat. Sadly, there was no Monster Raving Loony Party candidate in my constituency.
This election just shows how many people vote for a party on the basis of tradition rather than policies or competence. If Labour can still garner a relatively decent share of the vote with a dire leader like Brown in charge and the last 5 years on record, they'll pretty much always do so.
Plus, the system we use is ridiculously biased in their favour. Look at the results. Tories 306, Labour 258, LD 57. Votes: Tories around 11m, Labour 8.5m, LD 7m. So LDs have nearly as many votes as Labour, but a fifth of their seats. Ridiculous. Proportional representation has to come in now.

agree re PR. i would have voted PC, but the local candidate had no chance.
can only see PR coming in via a lib/lab pact though.
