Can Umbro keep up with demand? Adidas and Nike must produce a billion of these shirts and just change the badges, sponsors etc.

Doesn't get anymore boring than that. Would rather put money towards one of the replica older kits, so much more interesting. Especially if they brought this beauty back:

Its a shame that all the other Adidas nations have been given iconic retro designs back and we've been shafted with a template. Its also terrible that the main home option is all red with white an option to change shorts. I've always fancied Hungarys kits for us tbh

Hoped the leaked photo was a spoof. Good idea re: ladies options, shame about the shirt. Dye an old Grandad style vest red, and there you have it.

It’s ok
It’s biggest weakness is the similarity to the previous kit which will surely hit Adidas sales?
It seems a rushed effort when they’ve had 2 years to work on it.

People moaning about us getting a template when everyone else is getting a funky dunky kit are forgetting one crucial element; they're all going to the world cup, we are not.

How do you explain NI getting a retro kit then? (Very similar to their 1982 kit) We were only knocked out in October. Do you think Adidas waited until after this game to design the kit?

Adidas decided to play it safe by giving every play-off team a new kit? It's not always an anti-Welsh conspiracy.

I think we would have had this kit even if we were in the Playoffs. I think Adidas have been very lazy and this will impact their sales seeing as it is so similar to the present kit. You stated it’s because they are in the Play Offs. Play offs were only determined in mid Oct and the shirts are on sale in early November. Do you really think Adidas designed it, manufactured and release kits in less than a month?

Let’s agree to disagree on this one because if you are right thinking of what a great kit we would have had (thinking 80’s Adidas) makes it hurt even more that we are not at least in the playoffs.

They've moved the stripes form the shoulders to the sides. Very lazy and they still expect £60!

That button on the shirt is fucking shit. What is the point to it if it has zero function? They had better release a yellow away top soon or I am still wearing my old shirt to games and not buying a new one until the next change.

A hint of the away kit colour?

Scots got a retro looking shirt which is a cracker as well adidas obviously can't be bothered designing a decent shirt for wales!

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Scots kit the same as our new one but with a V neck collar instead of a round one with a button?
If we'd gone for that it would've been even more lazy.

Surely the FAW must have had some input when deciding on a design?

Scots kit based on there 86 kit with the same pattern in the material as that kit.we've just been given the quickest laziest option!

If we'd gone for that it would've been even more lazy. It’s at least based on their 80s kit like most of the Adidas kits are (except ours)

As I said further up the thread I would have loved to see the 83/84 classic given a modern twist, it would have sold out in no time. Opportunity missed there.
Still, its not that bad a shirt just a bit underwhelming. Lets see how it looks when the boys run out in Paris on Friday.

I think I'll give this one a miss. I think there'll be a new one coming out around the time of our next competitive games anyway (at which point you can either buy the new one which will hopefully be nicer, or get this one on a clearance sale). If the away one comes out soon though and is like the one we wore in Moldova then I'll be getting that. A nice Christmas idea for the Mrs

I think you have to remember we are a small country too. Of course they are going to have better kits for Germany etc as they will sell many more and tourists will buy them etc.

Are you saying they are “bigger” than us? Have either of these reached a Euro Semi Final?
