Surely the FAW must have had some input when deciding on a design? Exactly what I was thinking. Can see it now "excuse me Adidas, we don't really like this..." "Too bad, you signed the contract!!" I'm guessing they were asked for feedback from the latest kit, from that feedback Adidas presented some designs, FAW chose the best and altered it to fit what they wanted, Adidas put it into production. |

A year is a long time I guarantee people will say on Friday night "that looks quite smart actually I may get one". It happens every time with new kits that people don't like |

Yeah kits always look better in the flesh than in a photo. I really didn't like it when I saw the leaked photo on page 1 but seeing it modelled on our Gareth doesn't look so bad. A bit bland yeah but not terrible.

Why can't they add in a bit of green to make it a bit more patriotic again.  Really regret not buying one of those. |

The colour reminds me a lot of the last one, which I thought looked woeful in the original release photos but then pretty smart in real life. Hopefully this is the same.
Comments regarding the Jocks' one - it only looks smarter because it's in a darker colour, imho - and they have a proper badge unlike our disappointing updated one.

On the video there are white shorts with lime green stripes approx 8secs in. Not part of the GK kit so could be Away shorts?

They always end up with pin holes, food and beer stains after a decent trip watching Wales. |

Shame the new one wasn't similar to the early eighties Adidas offering with white sleeves.

I’m not sure we would have due to the short turnaround time. We were only officially out in early Oct. would they have designed and manufactured in time for early Nov? Scotland got an iconic retro kit and they didn’t qualify Haven’t Adidas said our iconic retro kit is based on 2016? Pure laziness in my eyes. |
