An almost all-Welsh bench for he cup tie this evening, with Kpakio, Colwill & Ashford starting as well Not forgetting Joel Colwill, Kieron Evans and Ei King who almost would have featured if they werent out on loan.

Young players seem to be making more of a mark under Bulut than previous managers but his approach still confuses me a little.
Maybe his hand is forced due to injuries, but he seems to favour experienced pros playing controlled style in the league (and how many experienced pros has he signed now!) and loans for young players, with that defined as anyone under the age of 24, or short cup runs where the style is far, far more exciting.
I don't know what's going on. Good to see so many youth players do well in this short cup run and hope to see them given chances in league side going forward.

No doubt the issue for Cardiff will be scoring goals.

Bulut getting the sack apparently. Wonder what Warnocks up to?

Would be nice for once to just hire a manager with a decent progressive philosophy. Lurching from pragmatic manager to manager just creates long term apathy - there's no progression for the fans to get excited about
Someone with an idea (ironically like Bellamy!) is what Cardiff need now. Need to look to the future and try and play some good football

Bulut getting the sack apparently. Wonder what Warnocks up to? Hope not, Warnock was a disaster for Welsh player development/game time at Cardiff City. (Admittedly my only interest in the club is limited to any Welsh players they may have).

Bulut getting the sack apparently. Wonder what Warnocks up to? Ridiculous after being indecisive on him just a few months ago. Should have just gone back then.

Manager needs a win today or even a goal or he'll get the Bulut.

Where next for Bulut after today's (not unexpected)loss to Leeds? Poor discipline for Bagan to get a red card after only 20 mins. An uphill strugglr for the bluebirds from then on. Colwill (C) and Rodon & Ampadu (L) each played a full game.

Did the Cardiff board expect to beat Leeds? I thought they would have given him the next few games.

The club wanted to give him a one year contract (presumably as a reward for mid table finish with latter season form concern) but he held out for two years.
Club would have been criticised for moving on from a manager who had secured a mid table finish but it now looks like it was the right thing to have done. He's financially secure for a couple of years, thanks to Dalman's support, but can't see who would hire him next.

Two year contract in the summer, sacked after 6 games. Vintage Cardiff City.
Dalman needs to go as well

Rambo player-manager, surely? Possibly. If I was them I would go for Tony Pulis who has escaped relegation battles /dogfights before or Nathan Jones or Giggs if it was a Welsh choice. Just as long as they survive ( like Swansea) in the championship & its for the good of the national team & this goes for Wrexham, Newport and Merthyr reaching a higher level.

Mark Robins at Coventry looks on dodgy ground . Dave Challinor at Stockport C. doing a grand job.
