Squad stretched to the limit at the moment but still picking up points, could be an ideal proving ground for the likes of Harry Wilson and Woodburn on loan, Billy Bodin has also been linked

Maybe Bradshaw but otherwise no guys available who can play on their own. Feeney going back to Blackburn (thank goodness) will mean another winger is necessary. A loan move for Woodburn or Wilson would be perfect, even if I can only see them getting time off the bench.

What will Cardiff do if they win promotion this season? Warnock can’t be far off 70 and has no track record of keeping clubs in the Premier League. I assume that’s the aim?

We've not got there yet mate. I don't think this model works as well in the premiership but it is all we've got, its proving successful so we'll probably run with it. As for bringing in quality light weight youngsters I'm not sure its Warnock's thing but we'll see. Wish I'd watched it on the box in front of the fire last night. It was bloody freezing.

Warnock will not sign young players. In January he will sign a couple of experienced pros in the hope that Cardiff will go up
If he succeeds he will leave the club a hero with a big fat bonus
He will also leave a team ill equipped to deal with the premier league and they will probably go down with everyone saying Warnock should of stayed.
The other option is they miss out in the play off. Warnock will then blame a lack of money and leave, several players will then be waiting for his next appointment so they can have another lucrative move

On another note it must of been nice for the fans to see some Welsh players last night.
I'm sure the swans fans enjoyed that on Saturday too

As we see with all Professional clubs nowadays, it is all about the here and now and signing the best players for as little as possible to get maximum return on their investment.
This is not limited to Cardiff.
Look at Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal. How many English players are they developing?

He doesn't even trust Tomlin let alone an 18 year old. Think signing Bodin is more likely on the other hand. Can't see him staying at the end of the season either way.

Let alone the holy grail of the Premier League.

I’m not a fan so I’m unsure. Seems strange to put a team together then leave after promotion. It’s rare but it does happen.

He's not said it definitely but he certainly doesn't have an appetite for the Premier League.

He’ll be due nothing if he steps down.

I hope for Cardiff's sake they go up automatically. They haven't got a prayer if any play off match they're involved in goes to penalties.

Well that was nothing like I’ve ever seen. Criminal to miss two penalties.

Shows the difference in quality mind, they have a Portuguese international who pings one in from 25 yards, we miss twice from 12

I would have taken 2nd all day long in August. Would have been buzzing with even the play-offs!

Still a few twists and turns to go, such is the unpredictability of the Championship.
