Is anyone else as confused as I am about Jordan Williams. According to Wikipedia 22 year old central defender/holding midfielder Jordan Williams is on loan at Rochdale from Liverpool. But today the BBC website reports that a 25 year-old Jordan Williams, has just joined Lincoln on loan from Rochdale, having previously played for Barrow.
Have there been two Jordan Williams' playing for Rochdale? I remember Mark Hughes playing for Tranmere against Swansea many moons ago, at the same time his more illustrious namesake was plying his trade with United.
What exactly is going on here? What makes things even more spooky is that the picture of the 22 year old Liverpool Jordan Williams isn't that different from the picture of the 25 year old Barrow/Rochdale Jordan Williams (the latter has a beard).

Here's hoping he's a sleeper for a future squad akin to Sheehan. A late career solid player who can do a job. If he continues to rise with or without Bolton then I don't see why not. We're hardly blessed for CDMs

Some thunderously appreciative reviews of his performance yesterday on the BWFC forum for the win against Oxford
"Oh and MJ Williams, such an engine. Starting to think he could be the find of the decade."
"Man of the Match again has to be MJ as he’s literally the only bloke in midfield who can stop the other team, but his passion was sublime today too"
"MJ's not far off Kante-like levels of hole-filling."
Truthfully, he and Sheehan look very, very comfortable at league one level. Hopefully both can move up another gear yet, still time, but their careers are catching up with them.

Was highly rated when at LFC in his youth, was called up by Cookie 7-8 years ago. 25/26 now, surely as per normal will be looked at another North West Wales player

He's something different to what we have, and arguably the type of midfielder we are lacking. Surprised he wasn't included in the EFL camp pre-Euros. Might be helped by the fact he's playing with several other Welshmen, surely worth a few monitoring trips to see Bolton for that reason

First league goal of his career yesterday, and a MOTM performance in many peoples eyes, against Sheffield Wednesday. Back in the fans good books after a few uninspiring performances, but back to his favoured sitting position in a 442 now.

Looks like he's off to join Matt Smith at MK Dons, bit surprised at this one, but hopefully Dons do well next season and get back to league 1

A shame he's dropping down a division. That tells me he's perhaps never going to get a cap as a potential senior EFL player to fill a gap

Any Wrexham fans on this forum actually at the game today ? How did MJ Williams do, was disappointed he dropped down a league but understand it was for a longer contract than he was offered to stay at Bolton. MKD forums seem to be all over him, saying their best player and MOM. Probably a bit late for him internationally but could have done a job for us in Turkey. Good player, and hopefully back in L1 next season.

Good player, and hopefully back in L1 next season. Watched on the TV, and he did well. MK Dons always seemed to have more bodies in the box and on the edge of the box to prevent Wrecsam getting too much joy through the middle, and MJ was definitely a part of that That being said it wasn't the type of performance that made me think he'll be pushing for the national team. If he played like that in League One or the Champ then maybe
