+1 to more Denmark tickets
If the FAW aren't aware, can you remind them that some people will have not had the Aways survey due to not agreeing after the required GDPR changes.

Think we are all on the extra Denmark tickets train (although understand that their performance over the next few weeks may well play a part in that). In that case also, provisions for fans who have already booked travel and may well be travelling without a ticket. If the FAW aren't aware, can you remind them that some people will have not had the Aways survey due to not agreeing after the required GDPR changes. Think this is a big one. Also, plans for the WWCQ v England - Timescale for Venue (understand it'll probably be South base as they have their training base in Newport and probably won't want to change). Also, what are their ticketing plans as this is by far the biggest women's match in the countries history, but we also have to ensure we don't have a Women's equivalent of Anfield '77. My suggestion: Have to have FAW purchase history for Men's OR Women's games (+ tickets to Wrexham schoolkids). Other than an actual away end. Although not an Away End as such. The fact we were all in one block at the Southampton game worked really well and I think the Engand fans that will travel will actually really appreciate it afterwards as well.

Are there plans for an open training session in the Liberty like the Racecourse had, perhaps before the Spain game?

Totally agree Re: WWCQ v England. We must not do the mistake of having a free for all. Only Red Wall or previous ticketing history with FAW.
Also, please do not make any deals with FAI - 2600 will be plenty for us and 1600 for them is far too much already!

If the Aways survey thinks we'll takrle more than 2600 to Dublin, what's so wrong about making deals with FAI?

An update on the away survey numbers would be great plus can you find out if the " old " stand at the Principality Stadium will be our designated singing / standing area for the Spain game ? Cheers .

If the Aways survey thinks we'll takrle more than 2600 to Dublin, what's so wrong about making deals with FAI? Short memory. We got royally screwed by the FAI last time around. Hopefully the FAW have learnt from it. I add one more to the away Denmark tickets, if we can get more then great.

Looking at the huge amount of TT available as of stage 2 (today). How many of the 19500 TT (2016-17) renewed in stage one?
Will the friendly games in Kiev and Stockholm still qualify for away games towards our current campaign? Or will it be WCQ (5) + China (2) and USA (1)?
Assuming that the DBU will need to stick to their generous offer of 1300 in Aarhus - what is the minimum of away games that will qualify for such a quota?

If the FAW survey results turn up that we'll need more than 2600 tickets, then what's wrong with us asking the FAI for more than 2600 - benefits our fans who may otherwise not attend, or, travel without tickets. If we get more from the FAI, it's only fair to assume that we should, in return, offer them more, if they require them. Can't really see what's wrong with that. I'm fully up to speed on the "deal" from 2017, by the way.

Because we wont get a fair deal, if we get 3000, but give them 3000 then they get 10% of our stadium, so 1500 home fans lose out for the sake of 500 away fans, end of the day that's a 1000 negative bad deal! I dont want any fan to lose out, but we have to be realistic, the FAI will screw us over!

They will be available on the FSF website in the very near future
Minutes of recent FSF/FAW meeting FAW/FSF CYMRU meeting June 19th, 2018, 3 pm start
AGENDA
1. Arriva Trains Wales plans for forthcoming matches in Cardiff 2. China Cup and Mexico v Wales update 3. UEFA Nations League 4. Tickets & Membership 2018-2020 5. Transport at away matches 6. Women’s matches 7. Disabled Supporters Association 8. Security, Police and stewarding 9. New Manager – possible visits to fan groups throughout Wales 10. FSF Cymru fan embassies / home matches 11. FSF Gogledd Cymru 12. Women’s clothing and commercial 13. Any other business
Attendees: Name Stakeholder Group Paul Corkrey FSF Cymru Kieran Jones FSF Cymru Vince Alm FSF Cymru Mark Evans FAW, Head of International Ian Gwyn Hughes FAW, Head of Public Affairs Lucy Mason FAW, Ticketing & Membership Manager Rob Dowling FAW, New Media & Publications Manager Peter Barnes FAW, Marketing & Brand Manager Matt Evans FAW, Ticketing & Membership Executive Wayne Nash FAW, Security Officer & CCS, Head of Operations Sara Pennant Jones FAW, Media Executive Ifan Williams FAW, Media department work experience Dave Dulin Wonky Sheep Events Lewis Brencher Arriva Trains Wales, Head of Communications Allyson Rees Red Wall Member Christian Evans South Wales Police
1. Trains from North Wales were discussed, and Lewis Brencher from Arriva trains couldn’t commit to the trains and pricing during our meeting but said he hoped we would be able to continue in the same way and would come back to me to confirm details once signed off, he also said they were very pleased with the uptake from supporters and thought that the new company would be keen to continue providing the service. a. It was agreed that we will go back to Reserved seats only on a 200-capacity train direct from North Wales to Cardiff, with an increase in adults to 175 and down to 25 concessions. Arriva also confirmed that there is no scheduled engineering work on international dates. b. It was hoped that with new investment after the takeover there will be improved services, therefore we could not have any information on trains for the Denmark game.
2. China Cup and USA: There were no arrests, all went well in both tournaments with no incidents to report. A few complaints at the ground for late buses but all fans arrived at the ground.
3. Nations League: Format was made clearer, and Lucy confirmed that the expression of interest for all three games is higher than our ticket allocation. 3,500 each for Denmark and Ireland with over 2000 for Albania. This is only an estimate of course from members who replied, and we are aware that some may not have taken the survey due to the new GDPR changes.
It was asked that it be made clear that there will be a loyalty system in place for all the Euro Nations and Albania Friendly due to ticket allocation, with a possible 1300 tickets only for Denmark and Albania with an increase for Dublin. This will also be the case when the Euro Qualifying draw is known. The FAW will always try to get the maximum tickets available in all cases.
4. Tickets and Membership: Again, mentioned the small capacity stadiums we will play in Denmark and Albania. Season tickets for CCS stadium has gone up to 11,500 with 16,500 memberships completed. It was hoped a favourable Euro 2020 draw will boost ticket sales. Correspondence from Tim Morgan was read out; however, it was pointed out by FAW his percentage figures were flawed as they were only based on 5 games, in the Euro we will have additional games so based on real games there was a 25% increase in ticket prices Grandstand, and 20% in Canton, with it averaging out an extra £4:00 per game coming to a 16.7% average rise on the last tournament tickets. Membership and ticket prices are still very fair in comparison with the other home nations and still the cheapest with children prices especially kept to a minimum cost.
5. Away Travel: It has been reported that many fans have already booked transport between Copenhagen and Aarhus, this could be a concern until we know the exact allocation of tickets and there is a real worry that many who have already booked may well not get match tickets due to the reduced ticket allocation arising from Denmark playing in Aarhus. Wonky Sheep said it was considering running alcohol free buses to games in Denmark and Albania if there was a demand to do this. 6. With the success of the Women’s team, now only needing a win to qualify for Euro’s in France next year, the match location will be decided at latest 2nd July. It was asked if there could be more activity up North especially after the success of the Men’s training session, it was asked could the Women’s team play there against England and maybe the under 21 team, no decision has been made yet and the FAW are waiting for fixtures to come out at all possible stadiums and all venues will be considered, the Welsh team manager will have her own ideas and input into that decision.
7. Disabled Supporters Association recent forum minutes were put out with meeting agenda, Kieran explained Level Playing Fields had been in touch with him the day before and arranged a conference call to discuss the new setup of the DSA and whether it would be a good idea to form one and what that would involve. Kieran will keep FSF and FAW updated on any news
8. Security Police and Stewarding: It was asked that the Principality stadium stewards have training in football matches as they are not used to football crowds. This is being looked at with Wayne Nash Vince expressed his concern at the queuing issues that the press and social media have raised at the Principality with queues of over an hour mentioned. The meeting with the stewards will address that. FSF Cymru have been invited along to a planning meeting for the event.
9. There are currently no plans for Ryan Giggs to travel around Wales meeting fans. He is a different personality to Chris and to make the best use of Ryan’s time the FAW will concentrate on Ryan’s engagement with youngsters throughout Wales and at places like St Fagan’s and the Wrexham open day event.
10. FSF Fan Embassies Home and away: Following on from working on an existing Memorandum of Understanding between the FAW and FSF it was agreed that the FSF should have a home presence with the three FSF members of the Embassy, Paul, Vince and Kieran being allocated Public passes by CCS stadium in liaison with Wayne Nash and the FAW on all home games and when they are available at away games. This will improve the presence of the FSF to both home and away fans, meeting up with other Fan Embassies from opposing teams. The FSF Cymru have also produced a draft booklet for visiting fans to the CCS stadium, they will work closely with Adam Gilliard at CCS to produce a working copy, that can be put on line but also sent out to teams due to visit Wales for International games
11. FSF Gogledd Cymru concerns were raised especially on our travel itinerary, especially with mid-week matches in Cardiff, Wonky Sheep further committed they will be running coaches from all around Wales to all home games
12. Women’s Clothing and Commercial: It was firstly agreed that the FAW will continue to produce hard copy programmes for the League of Nations and Euro 2020, this was received well. Alison brought up that female football kits are not available, and Adidas have put blame down to FAW. Peter Barnes confirmed he will look this up as there has been a recent meeting with Adidas in the USA trip.
Any other Business
• FSF asked if a possible training day at the Liberty like the one at the racecourse could be held, the FAW replied that the event at the Racecourse was to give schoolchildren the opportunity to watch Wales train as it is difficult to make the journey to South Wales to watch the team play and will not be repeated at the Liberty or Cardiff City Stadium in the near future. • FSF asked about the selling of alcohol at stadiums at UEFA games Article 36 of the UEFA safety and security regulations, we believe UEFA are looking at modifying the rules, this was confirmed by Wayne Nash and the FAW and stadiums will now sell alcohol at all home games, however the rules stays about not drinking alcohol in view of the pitch, but fine in the concourses and designated areas. • Persistent standing is also being reviewed, however it is hoped the singing section of the Canton will remain, but other area’s will be forced to sit down • Welsh Hearts are working with the FAW to raise money for AED’s in all sporting venues. It was hoped the FSF could help fundraise/ promote this.
• Next Meeting – Week of 17th September in Cardiff probably an interim meeting at the stadium to concentrate mainly on the Spain fixture It was agreed the next full meeting of 2018 will be held in North Wales later in the year, where it is hoped delegates can attend from the region, FSF Gogledd Cymru will be contacted to find a suitable venue.

Thanks, corky , as usual, great work. Can you please clarify, does the 11,500 figure, below refer to TT sales up until the end of phase one? Not clear what does the "gone up" refer to, as last campaign we had 19.500 TT?

corky is there any possibility that the FAW can produce some figures regarding how many supporters are on the different points / stages ahead of the draw next Sunday? I can't seem to find the estimates that either you or manulike produced before. I know the advice is don't book anything until you are certain of tickets, but it would be good to have some kind of estimates to help fans to make plans.

For the next meeting can the shambolic entrance to the away end at Albania be discussed?
For all the visits to the country prior to the game can the away facilities be reviewed as a matter of urgency?
I remember comms issued before Serbia away but nothing for Albania. Took some an hour to get in.

Please can the shuttle buses that run after home matches arrive earlier. They normally take an hour to arrive and there are always disabled persons, pensioners and children waiting. This can be quite distressing when it is wet and cold. Last time a number of people gave up and started walking as there is no steward around to let us know what is happening.

I'm pretty sure you are referring to the shuttles put on by Cardiff Bus from near the Station. I totally agree the last match v Denmark was particularly bad, but most times that I have used it, drunken teenagers would also butt in aggressively, ahead of families with children / pensioners, as there is not even a marking of a specific bus stop, let alone a queue line marker... If the FAW can allocate even one single steward from 5pm to 7pm, that would be extremely beneficial.

It used to be on Wood Street, in from of the Tesco store, opposite the Station, but has moved last month to stop JR outside the Cardiff Uni Media School (right in front of the Station / Central Square) - similar to the CCFC bus, they normally start 2 hours ahead of KO. NOTE - Google Maps only have STOP JQ ... but you should be able to find the new stop from there...
After the game, shuttle buses (from the KFC roundabout) run every 15 minutes for 1 hour from the stadium back to Wood Street
(although, from my experience, they always drop off at St Mary's Street)...
