Any idea what time you are leaving Tirana at? Think my flight gets in at 10ish the morning of the game.

2 posts have just been removed. I've never travelled with Wonky Sheep personally, but I know a number of Welsh fans find it more convenient and enjoy the trips that they put on.
If you have something you want to say about them, find a relevant place to put it and avoid the abuse please.

Have to agree How people spend theyre money is upto them they charge higher for the convenience and service they bring I wouldnt use them as enjoy planning my own trips but if i had little time or knowledge or had unlimited funds i might use them Like i said its about choice Personally from testimonials i heard in China they did well organised trip and they are also good for people who are new to away travel or travel in general as your in a group can be intimidating travelling alone or in small group if your dont have confidence etc

Not meaning to cause offence but lets be honest if you cant plan your own trip its a bit pathetic really having to use a money making company who want to rinse wales fans maybe the plastics! We were fine without them the days we took 200 away 10 years ago not needed just my opinion you dont have to agree with it thats also understandable but the opinion is with the die hards wouldnt touch that company whatsoever

I travel alone because most of my Welsh friends are married off with kids now. I've made friends really easily and am meeting up with groups for all the away matches.
People use package bookings for convenience. I prefer to do my own thing but know full well there'll be smiles in the airport bar first thing.

I can understand why some people may feel intimidated going alone to places like Dublin. They have strange money and talk funny. Stick to bottled beers and beware of fresh salads ;-)
Really, there is no difference to a night out down St Mary's Street. Their women are not as friendly, but otherwise, you should be fine.

Either use them or don't. It's a personal choice. Not for me but people pay for the convenience. Perhaps people didnt use company's like that before because they weren't there? Looking at the large group that travelled with them to China I know that there were at least 10 people, probably more with them that I would class as die hards. Plus they've committed to running buses to home games from up north etc. Surely that can only be a good thing?

There is competition in business as there is in sport, they have marketed well, took advantage of the current surge in demand for away travel with Wales, and got a deal with the FAW. Congratulations to them, its no different to booking a package holiday through a travel company. I havent used them as i like to plan my own travel and accommodation, its part of the fun. But what other choose to do is their choice. And Leigh's coaches should see this as a challenge and compete with them, as im sure they will. No need to insult their customers and Apostle forum members.

You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. But you are simply wrong on so many different levels. If people (newbies or diehards) want to use their services what on earth has it got to do with you if you choose not to? Its a free country you know? Personally I don't use them, as I have always preferred to organise my own trips, but I find your attitude to someone providing a service assisting Welsh fans to get to away games to be pathetic.

If I was traveling alone or pushed for time I would definitely use a company like Wonkysheep, however I refer to make my own arrangements. Each to his own, but the more fans that can get there the better.

Haven't you heard of Clemo's Red Dragon Travel. Did a few trips with them in the early days. I cannot recall whether these trips were recommended by the FAW at the time as they arranged the FAW's transport.

Yeah I have heard of them - used to advertise in the back of the Western Mail / Echo. Pre-internet days I would imagine they were the best way to do it! I did look them up to see if they were still going when I started following Wales away. Unfortunately they had disappeared by then.
