Does anyone know the latest points system for away games. There's been so many friendlies Ukraine, Mexico, China that I couldn't afford financially and annual leave. I fear my recent aways are slipping down the pecking order. Georgia, Austria, Serbia, Ireland, Cyprus.
There's gonna be a real scrap for the Denmark and Albania allocation.

The challenge the FAW will have is the points system. If we are only to get an allocation of 1300, this will be the lowest in a long time. Ok we took less to China and LA but this was the hardcore that never miss a game. We had 1400 in Moldova, and more in all the other away games. I can see many regular Away fans being disappointed 😔

This is what I posted in the Denmark Away thread:
So our recent allocation was (roughly):
Austria 3200 Ireland 3500 Serbia 2200 Moldova 1400 Georgia 1400 France 2200 China 500 USA 800
So my guestimate would be 6 out of 9 guarantees stage 1, stage 2 then 5 out of 9, stage 3, 4 out of 9....
Happy to be proven wrong on any of the numbers 🙂

So an average of 1900
I would break this down as 500 in stage 1, the same in stage 2 and a scramble for stage 3...

It is total guess work from me so happy to be proven wrong.
I have 4 so similar to you so if I miss out will impact my Albania trip as well 😔
From a selfish point of view I would like to see on this occasion sokit over the Euro campaign as well.
I am sure the FAW previously did this? Or was it only current and previous campaigns ( as this is the first game of the new campaign)

Do I get point if I'm in home end 🤣🤣🤣

I squeezed in to Serbia with none and got Georgia with one. Am on three now.
If I miss any then so be it. Those with more aways deserve the tickets.

I've 5 by the looks of it and it would have been 6 had I not missed my flight to Moldova. I'm hopeful of getting a ticket for both Denmark and Albania. Ireland shouldn't be a problem at all. Quick question on China and USA, weren't those games open to anyone as long as they were a member?

If I don’t get one for Denmark then it’s not the end of the world. I’ll just watch it in a bar. Visiting three countries in four days as part of the journey!

Think you are right on China and LA, but still think majority who travelled would have been the hardcore fans.

Thanks for the response guys. Its really difficult and i think there must be a better way for FAW to look at this. several friendlies prior to Nations league is a bit much
I aint single and cant afford financially/time for a lads hols. Cancel the kids hols im off to chiba. i need my points if i ever want to go away again.
Personally FAW should look at competative games not jolly holidays.

The Euros in France was a convenient novelty.
The Belgians only sold 340 tickets in advance from their 6k allocation for WC18!

Not sure how this would work as there would then be less of a differentiator in the loyalty scheme? At least by including the Away friendlies which are usually attended by less (but mainly by those who already attend the competitive games) they are then assured of Tickets as they are the most regular travellers?

Are you saying that only competitive games should count towards the points system?? You can only say 2 of the friendlies are classed as jolly holidays as you put it is China and usa and I would say a percentage of them won't be going to Albania. But like bern daid there is a hard core go to every game so they deserve first to tickets. Problem really only arises when less than I would say 2500 tickets for away then then like my self can only do 50% of away games we on border line. Like previous I'm not giving out to FAW or point system it's realization I will struggle to get a ticket and won't buy a ticket just to keep up points( impossible really cause I gave to collect of Lucy in the country we play)

Georgia officially sold out but there wasn’t the numbers there on the night. Serbia less easy to tell because the away enclosure was spacious. There will be some point whoreing but not too much.
Most away fans I know do every second match. i.e. Serbia but not Moldova.

Like my self I could not do all due to cost, work, mid week and not keen to travel and watch on tv in a pub not for me €€€€€ it's impossible as well as watching derby twice a month.

I do too. Serbia and Georgia in the qualifiers and then France. Missed China and USA; but I’m doing the next three.

I am not confident of our 2 aways getting us into the 1300 for Aahus so we have bought 2 tickets in the home stand in the block next to the Wales section .

Im sure whatever the FAW do, it will be the fairest system as normal. I think friendlies should definitely count towards points (and i have no away friendlies on my belt so it goes against me). Those who follow Wales the most should be rewarded for their loyalty. Its just a real shame that Denmark decided to play the game in Aahus.
