I think it would be nice for fans who dont get a ticket and go and prove without doubt youve been to support the team, to still be included as going away. Prehaps added to an honourarium list and then get rewarded after three to avoid the odd holiday claimant. otherwise its gonna be a downward spiral if you dont get denmark you wont get albania and go further down for ireland and so on for euros. Im going anyway so if ive got Austria.Serbia.Georgia and say PROVE another 3 (home ticket. flights. accom. photo etc) they could up it to 6? Now thats a loyalty scheme fans who attend ticket or not.

The FSF have stated that the FAW has every intention of cutting another deal with FAI. Although I genuinely can't see 3500 wanting to go to this, Dublin is a great place for building up your away points - just a shame about the rubbish team in green ;-(

I am not confident of our 2 aways getting us into the 1300 for Aahus so we have bought 2 tickets in the home stand in the block next to the Wales section . Me to 🙈

I sent photo copies of all this to the FAW ticket office via email after the Moldova game and they said that because the tickets were NOT bought via the FAW they will not count in our booking history , the problem is now the more and more away games we have in small stadiums then we shall be struggling again . We have bought home tournament tickets going back to the Millenium Stadium days and virtually been to just about every home friendly at the CCS but this does not count for any away game points system due to complaints about the Cyprus points system a few seasons back .

Away games have always counted for away points. I’m not aware they have ever mixed home and away (same applies with a number of clubs). I’m not sure how including home points to Away Tickets would help anyway as I would think 99% of those who go to Away games go to home games as well? The only time both did count was for Euro16.

Not disputing that more aways deserve a tickets just bitching that I'm going to find it hard to get a ticket When we qualify and have matches in Baku, Rome Budapest and Munich ... there will be plenty of tickets and very few takers. The Euros in France was a convenient novelty.
The Belgians only sold 340 tickets in advance from their 6k allocation for WC18!
Some games will also be held in Russia I believe? The costs notwithstanding, I'd welcome a Wales fixture in Baku, Budapest or St. Petersburg if it meant I could get a ticket! And hopefully, we could get a semblance of the WC2018 atmosphere that other fans got to experience this summer 😀

Would love to see us play there ;-) Hated Baku, and don't really want to go back there ;-(

St Petersburg is an amazing city. Spent a few days there for my 40th a few years ago. Gutted it was the weekend when the 2014 world cup playoffs were on so I couldn't get to see Zenit play at home as I'm a long standing fan of theirs and Russian football. Would love to go back there.

How come you hated Baku out of interest? Always been high on my list but think I’d only ever go there with Wales.

I certainly hope that we don't draw them in our qualification round - as I may well sit that one out.

So an average of 1900 I would break this down as 500 in stage 1, the same in stage 2 and a scramble for stage 3... 5 from 9 aways for Stage 1 which would cover WC away campaign. Which is totally fair + friendlies 4 for stage 2. AUS.IRE.SER.GEO back in the game

At what point do I say it's "unfair" I clearly state including all 5 WC qualifiers is fair. As my concerns were 6 from 9 or 5 from 7 etc. And friendlies would take priority. However if you supported the boys away throughout the WC campaign you are rewarded with 5 aways.

Feel people might be seriously optimistic if they feel a lot of tickets will be left to stage 3

Do you think that after each game, the FAW would be able to report exactly how many people have attended x number of eligible games.
E.g.
55 attended 9 of the eligible games 120 attended 8 403 attended 7
... and so on
This would at least allow us to know how many are ahead of us in the pecking order.

Should be on your account would make it all simple showing how many points.... but it's not rocket science ... You add up how many away games you been from the list... and it's 5 for me but I had to hand one back as I could not make France so down to 4

I know how many aways I have been on.

Fair point, they have the figures, they just have to publish them.

I may be wrong but didn't UEFA issue the tickets. It was pot luck. FAW just gave a code I believe on how soon you could apply. That's why Euro away don't count.
Id rather not know how many are infont it could put you off trying. At the end of he day I'm in my stage and need to be online 12pm on the dot.

Yes but if you are busy working you may not be able too, or are not gonna book half a day off when its pot luck. Its nice to have clarity so you can see if its worth taking the time off to do so.

Pretty sure tickets were sold by uefa. hence why not on aways list. FAW gave a priority booking code at stages as you had to buy via your country membership. FAW did not distribute the tickets hence why everone had random games.catagories. All tickets were via uefa website and emails. You must have had a uefa login.
