Howdy lads, getting the Dublin - Holyhead ferry next Wednesday before flying down to Cardiff for the match. We have about 4 hours to spend in Holyhead before going out to the airport. Anyone any suggestions of things to do? Places to eat/drink? Had a look online but can't see any particularly decent pubs. Anywhere selling local beer preferable.
Cheers.

Cheers lads. Won't have a car but will check out the places mentioned in town anyway.

The Edinburgh Castle, which is the nearest pub to the ferry terminal (right outside basically) has always served me well. There's a nice new Italian restaurant which is easily accessed from the footbridge down to the town centre called 'A Mano'. As opposed to pubs on the high street, don't expect it to be very lively in the daytime but Gleeson's is allright and the Skerries.

Went in Castle when we last went to ireland before ferry they stayed open late full of fans and has outside area for smoking and good selection of drinks
