news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_of_wales/8860410.stmMorison and Blake and Bellamy called up, Gabbidon likely to be left out. Glad to see Morison get a chance, hopefully at least a half and not the token 5 minute cameo at the end. Agree with Gabbidon being left out. Not sure about whether we really need Bellamy there given his injury record. Best use him for qualifiers. Article says that Tosh has yet to hear from the prem managers- I dont think McCarthy in particular has any reason to complain as none of our players are first choice there! We will be doing him a favour getting them match fit!

I'd love to see Bale come and play, but can't see that happening with a match against man city on the weekend.

anyone else think we may have more withdrawls than against croatia???
i think eardley and vaughan will be in and ash williams but i can see plenty dropping out. I can also see into the future and toshack will argue with not 1 but 2 players and they'll never play for wales again.

No - there won't be as many withdrawls as there were for Croatia. This game is at home and only a few weeks from the start of the next campaign.

It wont be a good turn out, the fixture doesnt capture the imagination at all. We can certainly expect the usual suspects not to turn up. Its when the youth players who arent getting a game at their clubs pull out that we really know all is not well in the camp.
Didnt Ched pull out citing "personal reasons" last time? Will be interesting to see if he gets a look in from now on under Tosh seeing as we have Morison, Bellers, Church, Robson-Kanu, Earnie and Vokes who we can call up instead.

We must be the only country that allows our players to pull out and not get vilified by the press. It is'nt acceptable and it's up to the manager to sort it out.

The problem is that the head of sport at media wales (bananaman) has a man-crush on the man responsible for the state we find ourselves in regarding withdrawls (Giggs).... I guess he realises that any article critisising the latest batch of withdrawls will look pretty weak next to his latest fawning piece of Giggs love.

Timing of it isn't great I agree. That said, the timing of the Croatia game was perfectly acceptable from the club manager's point of view. No club games for three months, and the lads had failed to qualify for the finals. What excuse can there be for not turning up for that?

The players were tired *rollseyes* The players involved in play-offs- fair enough. The rest have no excuse whatsoever and Im sorry but it told me that they either do not care about playing for Wales or they have a problem with Tosh. Well done to Bellamy for turning up and being diagnosed unfit by our doctors. How many of the others who were 'injured' turned up to be assessed by the FAW physios?
