We've got some very good young talent coming through spread around all areas of the field. We could have a great side in a few years time.
This is an U23 outfield we could put out.
Lewis Mepham Rodon Roberts
Ampadu Smith
Matondo Brooks Wilson
Roberts
Subs Woodburn, James
Let's hope they all develop to their full potential.

I completely agree Matondo Brooks Wilson are most likely ahead of him, thought we had the next Bale when that goal against Austria went in. Hope he can start pushing on soon. |

We have 5 next Bales, as well as one in centre midfield. Exciting times are ahead, I just hope Giggs doesn't waste these lads. I don't think he will. |

Wasn't just his goal against Austria. Made a fantastic run from his own half and cross with his weaker foot to help break the deadlock against Moldova. Not many players show a linear progression so hopefully his development will kick on again. Needs to be playing regular football now though. |

On that note we could do with a goalkeeper coming through, it doesn't look like Ward is getting first team football anytime soon |

Left Lincoln City by mutual consent
Only has about 20 odd senior appearances under his belt. 23 this year too.
Hopefully can get some game time for next move

Strange that he never got a chance there. Admittedly I only base my knowledge of him on watching him for our U21s, but he always looked to be one of our better players whenever I saw him play. Can't say I noticed much difference in quality between him and RND, so it seems strange that one has kicked on and is starting regularly in the Championship while the other can't get a game in League One. So much of a footballer's career comes down to luck and being in the right place at the right time.

Seems to have found his feet at Newport. 21 games for them in all this season, and started the last 14 games of the season for them.
Got a goal against Crawley, and an assist with a long throw on the last day at Southend as one of five Welsh starters. Should start for them in the play-offs vs Forest Green.

Played really well for Newport last night. Got a nice assist and should have gotten a goal too.

Been a great signing for us and is probably first name on the team sheet at the moment. Hopefully we get promoted so players like this stay with us next season.

Will be fantastic for Welsh football to see Newport going up. All Welsh clubs seem to have a good core of Welsh players at the moment, so having 3 clubs in the top 3 leagues and (potentially!) Wrecsam back in the football league would be brilliant

Notice after looking up Will Evans' stats that Mansfield have a player called Aaron Lewis. Does he have a thread on here?
Says he's a full back on wiki, but he's got the no8 shirt at Mansfield.
Mainly used as a sub, but has scored a few goals this season
