I'm more than happy for games to be moved around. I just don't buy that we'd sell the Liberty out. Friday night, decent opposition, £15 adult tickets, advertise it well enough and it should sell out. 21,000 turned up for the Northern Ireland friendly at the CCS in March 2016, and that was on a Thursday night... Although it was like a Friday night as Friday was Good Friday if I remember correctly.

JBG you should go to Builth on a home match day. Thousands of fans from North Wales stop off there Probably easier to get to Swansea from North Wales than it is from along the M4 corridor when there's been an accident.

Seriously? You think we don't travel in large numbers from the North? Maybe I have misunderstood but the commitment needed to attend a home game is massive. Many have to take a day's leave from work and we rarely get home before 2am so please don't suggest that not many would travel. I agree though, that Swansea should get a share of the matches just as Wrexham should. Well where were the masses from North Wales in February 2013 when we played the very same opponent? Question you should be asking is where were the local fans that night with 8k+ in attendance? Find it strange that you criticise fans who drive 4H to get to a game when the local fans can’t be bothered

I join the M4 from the A449 & come off it at the A48 so you are not on the corridor for long..

It looks like you are trying to split the fanbase. We know North Walians travel in their numbers to games, not sure why you feel the need to question it?

Not the first time this tool has tried to split the fan base in fairness.. constantly snipes about Cardiff fans and now attempts to blame N Wales fans for the poor attendances for Wales games at the Liberty ffs

Let’s be honest or some reason Swansea has always been the worst supported home ground for Wales. This goes back decades

Not sure how what you said has been taken out of context? Would be easier if you just apologised.
Anyway I hope we do get to see some of these friendlies in Swansea and Wrexham. Give as many as people as possible who can’t usually travel to Cardiff the opportunity to give the team a great send off.

I see that the Netherlands has international friendlies with Spain and the USA booked for March. Any progress about a possible friendly with the Dutch in June?

Good news i.e Liberty Stadium, should sell out on a friday night! I would be disappointed if less than 75% of attendance attend this game.

Why would it sell out on a Friday night? Barely better than any other week day. I would hope for a crowd of about 15,000 if the weather's good.

Twitter calling out the Liberty Stadium for Union Jack flags. Is there any truth about that? Always thought it was a myth

Twitter calling out the Liberty Stadium for Union Jack flags. Is there any truth about that? Always thought it was a myth There's one roughly half way on the east stand (can be seen from the TV cameras in the west) and sometimes one in the south. There's more Malaysia flags when Wales play at the CCS than Union Jacks at the Liberty when the Swans play.

Will be interesting to see what they do with the 'Canton' for the Liberty game.
The North is for visiting fans usually and the South is the family stand (behind both goals).
The North would be good for the 'Canton' regulars.
Maybe they will locate visiting supporters elsewhere, or just in the north west corner? Can't see Austria bringing that many, they didn't take that many to Cardiff for our WCQ in 2017.

FFS if Wales played Moldova in Rugby it would be a sellout there!!!! The Welsh National team in football plays 2nd fiddle to Liverpool, Man United, Leeds etc... It doesn’t play second fiddle to regional rugby because we know regional rugby is screwed. Why aren’t we packing out stadiums in our golden years of Welsh football?

Friday's a lot better than the other weekdays, a lot of people won't have work the next day and there'll be no school the next day for kids. If the FAW price it right it should get near a sellout, Spain aside its also much better opposition than we've played in our recent friendlies

Little over 8,000 last time Austria played at Swansea in 2013, fucking abysmal considering tickets were only £10 and they were selling out in the PL vs. the likes of Wigan & Reading. 12k when we played Croatia there the following month.
Wonder if Welsh football's big-time Charlies will show up this time?

We have no USA flags at our stadium and the north stand is sponsored by Visit Wales.
