So Jazz has started the last 6 for City. Anyone know if he's been playing RB or LB?

<!----> I read that last week. It's dated 20th Feb. But good to see he's been playing well on the most part Just for the record, Cardiff City fans are pretty unanimous (from who I've spoken to and what I've read online) that Jazz has been poor this season. I would take anything Harris says with a pinch of salt - he's basically stuck with Jazz as his only option at right back after forcing Peltier out the door (and apparently having zero confidence in the new loan signing from Wolves, who's barely even been on the bench since coming in), so he's likely to keep publically singing Jazz's praises both to try to boost his confidence and to try to gaslight the supporters who are angry about the Peltier situation into believing that his decision to let him go was justified.

Not used to having a footballer in the side though.

I blame YOU... Obviously totally jinxed it... Dion Sanderson starting tonight in place of our Jazz ;-(

Illness apparently. Sicknote strikes again.
I've been a big defender of Jazz in the past, but what I've seen of him this year he's been quite poor. We have a lot better options.

Probably until the end of the season, might know someone at the club and a win win for both parties. Keep them in the league, gets regular football.
*they're actually doing really well, might get a European place.

Great signing for the league. Great to have big names knocking about, can only be a good thing.
He’s probably suffered as the competition for squad places in the EFL are sky high because of Covid. Due to his injury plagued past he probably got overlooked.
If he can prove his fitness he would probably still be a very good signing for a Newport or suchlike.

Great signing and a huge statement of intent by the club who look well placed for a play-off spot particularly after todays result.Well done to all who made it happen.
Could be a good move for Jazz and a fresh start to his career after the frustrations and injuries of the last few seasons.

I'd bet at that level he will be used as a defensive midfielder, or possibly a winger, given his quality at the top level

Sounds like he's quite content with the level & may well play out his career in the Cymru Premier. A good asset for the league - who knows maybe other pro's will consider this in the future, along with Jazz & Cotterill etc..

I understand players who are past their prime joining but I feel that he would still be a good EFL L1 player

Given that left wing back is a problem position is it inconceivable that if there were a run of injuries to players in that position and Jazz was playing regularly for Haverfordwest that he might be called up for the Euros? Very unlikely I guess, but I'd love to hear what the pundits would make of a Cymru Premier player appearing in the Euro finals.

For me, someone like Huggins who is a squad regular at a good Premier League club would be ahead of him now. I'd love to see a Cymru Premier player make the squad, but for now I think it's unlikely. Most likely position for this to happen is 3rd choice keeper. I can see Owain Fôn joining a Cymru Premier club and being included as a 3rd choice in a similar fashion to his call up last year

Perhaps, but we shouldn't dispense with experience needlessely, especially considering how well Richrds has played for Cymru. It would take an extraordinary set of cirumstances for him to make the squad, but if he's match fit, and playing regularly, he should certainly be in reckoning. Bear in mind he's still only 29.

There's at least 10 players off the top of my head I'd put in ahead of him, Richards isn't even a left back

Get real - a player in the Cymru Premier isn't going to get anywhere near our squad these days. Agree we shouldn't dispense with experience needlessly, but that relates to players still good enough to cut it in the top two/three divisions - Chester/Gunter etc. Jazz Richards hardly played for Wales when he was in the Championship, he's not going to start getting caps now he's slipped into the CP.

But it is true that we don't have many good options on the left, and although he plays mainly on the right he has played for Cymru as left wing-back with great effect.
