Bro u need to follow a London team that always plays a Welshman like Palace. Or a certain east Midland team "couth" 😁 Ps how did ozil do after as Ramsay replacement?? 🤔

Congrats, first months are always a whirlwind. With two girls, 4 and 2, life is crazy enough as it is! So can't imagine the stresses of having twins as well as another young child. I think my mrs would have hit the roof if I said I was going back to work 2 days after giving birth, so don't blame Ramsey for staying home. With respect, the guy is a multi-millionaire who lives in a mansion- pretty sure he could afford some hired help to allow him to play...but I don't blame him for missing an international match. And let's be fair, if you take his Wales career as a whole into account it is 50/50 whether he would play to his potential anyway. Nowhere anywhere near as big as a miss as Allen or Bale imo. I take it this part was a joke.

So now the best player in the PL and probably the best in Europe, has been reduced to a Europa league replacement for Iwobi.

Why would arsenal announce this? Wouldn't they like to see some offers come in in January?

I think they've been resigned to losing Ramsey for a while now. They did try to keep him, by offering to extend his contract and upping his salary, but the talks broke down. They've been down this road before with the likes of Wilshere, Ozil and Sanchez. I guess he's not featuring in their starting eleven because they are trying to build a team without him, as his departure now seems inevitable.
While I can understand the club's position, I can also see it from Ramsey's and cannot blame him for having held out to get a better deal or an offer from elsewhere.
I hope a top club comes calling for him in January.

If you are talking about the decision not to offer him a new contract that isn't strange at all. Arsenal feel they can get much better value for money for 200k a week and they would be right imo. The bigger picture is that it's good to see a club take a stance on player power and it would be nice to see a player price himself out of his career prospects for a change instead of it being the usual story of clubs held to ransom. Someone will give him a fat signing on fee at the end of the season but whether that leads to first team football is another thing entirely.

Too much is being read into this. This is pretty much entirely down to Arsenal's failure to qualify for the Champions League. If they were playing Champions League football this year they wouldn't have withdrawn the offer to Ramsey that he'd verbally accepted.
Wherever Ramsey ends up I hope that they will be able to reduce his number of injuries. That should be pretty much the only concern for us as Welsh fans. He could be playing at Championship level (not that that is going to happen any time soon) and he'd still be a shoe-in for the first team. All we need is a fit Ramsey. Nothing more and nothing less.

Getting an inconsistent player...but with CL experience and a good assists tally on a free transfer would be decent enough business. But I can't see him being bought as a first teamer by anyone better than Arsenal. He'll be a good squad player for that sort of money and that's it. As alarch said, be interesting to see how the injuries go...

Can't go to Spurs, Liverpool distancing themselves, which leaves Chelsea or United and United are on a downward trajectory. With Arsenal's improvement he may end up worse off in terms of league position.

Ramsey needs to pray he has an injury-free season. If he manages that he could move to a Barcelona or a Juventus. If he loses a few months to injury he may be lucky to be signed by Everton...

He will probably leave in January now, can't see him playing all that much if they know in 6 months time he won't be there.

AC Milan and Juventus in the mix (apparently).
It was recently reported that Juvé would be prepared to offer him a pre-contract in January.
