First and foremost, hope that the injury isn't career-threatening.. Hope you recover soon Ethan.

Another player made of glass by the looks of it. Young lads who I think are brought on with hype into Wales squad and then struggle, look at Starman came on scored and struggled since. IRS important our young players brought thro with right coaching and looked after... look at Wilson as example.. loan periods at hull then at derby which has done him good. Brooks at Bournemouth etc not like amps who is a bit player at Chelsea hardly game time etc.

Another player made of glass by the looks of it. It's reportedly to do with growing pains, which obviously will no longer occur when he's fully grown in a couple of years. So you seem to be a bit off there.

Growing pains in an 18 year old male adult, who's pretty much fully grown? Yeah I've read that somewhere and it's a load of old rubbish. I can understand if he was 10 years old, but he's almost completely developed physically.
Even if it were 'growing pains', it's not exactly going to make him injured. If growing pains were that bad then then hundreds of boys and girls would be missing out on sports during school and you rarely see that happening.
Just seems like such a bizarre and baffling explanation to use.
Sorry if this comes across harsh, but it's extremely deflating and frustrating seeing our players injured all the time. What we need to do is discover more Will Vaulkses, who are physically stronger and battle hardened.

So the FAW should concentrate on discovering more average 2nd tier players in their mid 20s than invest in nurturing our talented young players and provide a pathway to the seniors?
That's even more bizarre than the made of glass comment.

That's even more bizarre than the made of glass comment. There's a serious case for it, especially considering our history of injuries. We just don't have the resources to rely on semi-permanent injured youngsters.

It happened to my brother on his knees when he was younger and it affects youngsters at different ages. Even Giggs stated that every time he sees Ampadu he has grown bigger.

Crazy that he's only 18 still- feels like he's been around for ages now. Growing pains isn't something you usually hear about in professional footballers- probably because most of them didn't debut at 15!

Said it before he will be an all time Welsh great by the end of his career.
Him and Matt Smith with James and Wilson out wide could be awesome in a few years.

Some good news. He returned to training on Wednesday. Hopefully, 3 inches taller ;-)
More seriously, it would be great if he gets some game time in the final match of the season next Friday for the U23 v BHA. The BHA U23 have already guaranteed 2nd place, and are a very good side - so could be a decent match.

If fit think he will start one game and Smith the other.
Also think Wilson Lawrence James and Vokes will rotate.

Just read a BBC Sports article saying both he and Rambo are out of the squad (presumably missing from the training squad)?

Presuming he's out because Chelsea have a cup final game.

Looks like there is much more chance of Ethan making it than Rambo. Although, I'd still go with Allen & Smith

Just seen Ethan jumping up and down celebrating the deserved win tonight. Not many people in the ground though I thought they must have been playing at at Man City,s Etihad stadium.

I think Ampadu is a class player for someone his age but i just can’t stand his habit of constantly pointing at his teammates to where the next pass should go all the time. Like the centre backs and full backs need to be told where their nearest teammate is when they’re not even being closed down and the player is 5 yards away. I mean is it too tricky for them to just look up themselves that he needs to tell them personally? It must feel so patronising for his teammates don’t you think? Don’t get me wrong, it’s not entirely unhelpful for him to do but at the same time it just reeks of arrogance and showing off a bit. Maybe just me and pretty trivial but just comes across a bit annoying!

Maybe just me and pretty trivial but just comes across a bit annoying! Interesting question. Personally I think it's great that he's showing leadership - but it could well be annoying for his team mates. I'm not sure how the likes of Joe Allen and Ben Davies, who are very intelligent players who both read the game really well regard any attempts to instruct them on where they should go, but perhaps Ampadu doesn't do it to them? It takes some humility to see the bigger picture and see that Ampadu is simply taking responsibility and helping the team shape and performance. I imagine that some may find it patronising, and I wonder how that plays out in the dressing room.
