You did and you know you did. I think we're done here. No need to cry off fella, just replying as I see it. You seem to be under the impression the trust should just hand everything over to the club and our new independently wealthy owners and expect nothing in return, rather than remain as a minority shareholder, a group that runs community initiatives for the club or as a future safeguard with money in the bank ready to step in. It's certainly not sexy, but it's a damn sight better than going back to a Pryce to Hamilton scenario where fans are disorganised and penniless again. The Trust are not penniless, they have £300k in the bank.

That'll come in handy when we need to pay off the investment loans, it should only take us a decade of non-league football on a shoestring budget to clear it off.

Out of interest how will you be voting tonight? I'm voting to continue so we can actually see what the proposed deal is rather than have people teasing it online, but if any of what I've seen and read online is correct, then it's a shit deal and we'd be desperate mugs to accept it.

If you're over a certain age you'd probably have to google him. It'll probably cost us more in legal fees to sell the club to him.
Our fans will run away giddy with this now though thinking a celebrity is genuinely interested in little old Wrexham as a club rather than another investment in the portfolio, just as Newcastle fans thought they'd be signing Neymar and Mbappe a few weeks ago.

I’m celebrating this like a promotion tonight. Wrexham fans can’t be picky when it comes to good news. I feel like going to the stadium like Liverpool fans did.

Wrexham never get luck like this. Been jealously watching Cardiff and Swansea, and even Newport for years now. Hopefully now, finally, we can break out of the doldrums and get Wrexham back where it belongs.

We're a special club, but not in the emotional sense - we're debt free and have no creditors, that makes us a golden unicorn in the world of football finances.

Bloody hell mate, you know football's meant to be fun? I'll throw a party when we sign Mbappe and Aouar. Fylde spent more than £2m last season and got relegated for their troubles. For the club, it could be good news, but as someone who wanted to see the trust get a fair deal, it's woeful.

We're a special club, but not in the emotional sense - we're debt free and have no creditors, that makes us a golden unicorn in the world of football finances. Very attractive for an investor then especially if they get control for a nominal amount. As exciting as it can be when new owners come in promising investment, as a city fan I’d always be weary.

Maybe these two have Wrexham or welsh ancestry? The rumour is they want to take a lower league side, build it up to be something huge and document it. Rob McElhenney chose Wrexham due to it formerly being a mining town, as his father was a miner, and he sold the idea to Ryan Reynolds who could provide more up front capital.

Some of the "day to day" operators names I've seen banded about are associated with Ridsdale, Bates and all the controversy that followed them in the past. Could go either way, but we've been shagged a lot in the past two decades so I'll only believe success when I see it.

Ahh ok bro thanks for clearing it up . So Wrexham fc could be on Amazon as one of the all or nothing series of documentary. Cannot see that manager being in a job long if they take over the club they would think they had bought a rugby club with the hoofball he plays?
