League Two is fascinating.
All the pacesetters have run out of steam & the division has concertinaed as a result. Teams that were nowhere at Christmas, such as Walsall for example, are now in the mix & everyone as far as Bradford down in 16th can make the Play Offs.
If Wrexham win 7 out of 12 they will likely go up automatically, anything less than that & it’s the lottery.
Newport can probably win another 5 games & be assured of the Play Offs, but need to be wary of the chasing pack equally as much as those they are looking to overhaul.
It will be a great end to the season.

Stockport have to be very confident at this point leaving two automatic spots to compete over.
Mansfield and Milton Keynes seem to be the big competition at this point.

Stockport have to be very confident at this point leaving two automatic spots to compete over. Mansfield and Milton Keynes seem to be the big competition at this point. They play each other. On balance its best if Mansfield beat Milton Keynes away, as Milton Keynes are 2pts behind Wrexham, have a far worse goal difference and have played 1 more game. As long as Wrexham also beat bottom club Forest Green together with that result then Wrexham would need just 1pt from the other 3 games to get promoted Before Forest Green at home, they have Crawley Town at home. Crawley are in very good home - but if Wrexham win that then they will be in a very strong position

After the Mullin goal today, it never looked in doubt, but it was edgy for the first 60' ;-(

Mansfield seem to have imploded of late though and the match is in MK so home win wouldn't be a surprise. Somebody pointed out a while back that Wrexham probably needed 7 wins from 12 matches to get promoted which 5 wins later would now be 2 wins from 4. Reckon that's still about right. Crawley on Tuesday will not be easy. Sorry!

Wales need to get twinned with Canada!
One of the owners of Wrexham and now our women's football team's manager are both Canadian. They are humble like the Welsh but have that American positivity don't they? We could learn a lot from them!
I am from the Valleys in South Wales originally but want all our teams to do well and really hope Wrexham get over the line as it would be so great for North Wales and the further development of the game in the region which is after all the birthplace of our country's game!

Yep, from those Valleys too but have always had a soft spot for Wrexham. First ever league game I ever saw was at the Cae Ras. Would love to see them in League 1 next season to be joined soon after by Newport.

I know it won't be a consideration for Parkinson, but it would be nice to see a larger Welsh contingent in the Wrexham side if they go up next year. I think there's a few options. An audacious bid for Ward has already been mentioned, and would make a lot of sense if Okonkwo doesn't fancy staying.
I think Joe Low would be a good move. He's had a really good first senior season in League 1 this year and has all the attributes to kick on - physically excellent, good technically, and a goalscoring threat. Really strikes me as a Parkinson type of signing, and after joining Wycombe for I believe only a couple hundred grand last Summer, there's a good chance he would be affordable, although Wycombe were rumoured to have turned down a big fee from Blackpool in January.
Lee Evans is out of contract in the Summer. While I don't think he'll get another cap, and his career's been devastated by injuries, he's more than good enough for League 1 level.
I think Owen Beck is too good for League 1, otherwise that would have been another good option - Cardiff should really look at him though.
Any others?

We'll take Joe Taylor, please and thank you. Chances are he'll be in the Championship next season. Watched his goals for Colchester and Lincoln. Very impressive. A lot of pace in behind and clinical finisher. I think his ceiling is very high. Very much in the Bellamy mold.

Swansea will probably look to offload Jerry Yates in the summer. They signed him for £2.5 million to play off a holdup striker in a 3-5-2, but they never signed the holdup striker. So he could be ideal for Wrexham to play off Palmer or Dalby. Prolific at League One level, and decent record at Championship level. Could be available for less than a million.

Keeping it Welsh and given who the manager is I predict
Will Vaulks Tom Bradshaw Sorba Thomas
and if "If" is a box office smash
Kieffer Moore.
Although considering where they currently are with the project, mindful of international appeal and with thoughts turning towards season 4 content, maybe some overseas signings are now in order. Bet they'd love an American or two.

No longer a big fish in a small'ish pond though so after the deserved celebrations comes the next challenge.

Some bitter comments in social media(no surprise)
For avoidance of doubt-
-no one is claiming Wrexham were underdogs to go up.
- Wrexham fans are fully aware that they wouldn’t have done it without the investment from Reynolds and McElhenny.
- No one is claiming that Wrexham didn’t have a bigger budget than the rest of the league.
- Wrexham fans are fully aware that their profile has been raised only due to the documentary and the Hollywood connection
- anyone claiming that Welsh clubs shouldn’t be in the EFL are at least 100 years too late.

I suppose the one surprising thing is that the last two home games the attendance has been mid 11's as opposed to mid 12's or is that to do with away allocation?

Some potential big away followings coming next season, certainly if Wednesday/ Huddersfield come down.

Wrexham supporters and people who live in the area
I love rugby as well as football and am just curious as to whether you think a regional rugby team in Wrexham / North Wales could ever work there?
On the rugby forum it is always dismissed and I know a lot of people in North Wales may dislike football but as a South Walian in exile I think this is a bit of an arrogant backwards looking attitude. Sure football will always be the first love by a distance in terms of fans and young talented kids in North Wales but is there not an opportunity over a 10-20 year period to build up a regional team as athletic, talented kids who do not make it at football could make a big impact in a sport like rugby?
How often is rugby played in schools in Wrexham and North Wales?
I know this is a football forum and Wrexham have just got promoted but I did not realise Wrexham had such a large population - The 2021 Census estimates the population of Wrexham County Borough to be around 135,100 people - and am just curious

By the way its been great that Wrexham has done Wales so proud. Lets hope we get a couple of Welsh boys in the team next season - as that would be the cherry on the cake!
