So there is now over 250 tickets available. Crazy. I know people sitting apart because they could only get single tickets. Now, 2 days running, they release blocks of tickets. Poor effort FAW. Tickets went on sale months ago.... So nobody can buy later?

Clearly the faw are releasing seats due to the Danes not taking up their full allocation, this can’t be done til denmark confirm their numbers...imagine the fuss week on Friday if these blocks were left empty!!

I actually think Ford has done an outstanding job. FAW were mud for years. It was them against the world for many a year. Amateur nights!!!! Since Ford came in things seem to have gone from strength to strength

My only gripe with them, and it might not all be their fault is how late or close to games that tickets go on sale. The last 2 aways have been in the calendar for months but tickets are on sale weeks before?
We book as soon as games are confirmed and just hope we get tickets, not everyone can or will take the risk, but surely Albania tickets should have been on sale weeks / months ago?

Think this is more with the home FA confirming the allocation rather than the FAW.

I think a big problem is they seem to keep the better seats back.
My brother booked early for Spain and ended up high over the corner flag.
I left it much later and was bang on the half way line.

Yes that’s true, but there is always a minimum and guaranteed allocation that could be sold earlier while negotiations for additional tickets takes place.

All,seats should be on sale at the start.

All,seats should be on sale at the start. It's not cost effective to do this though if the game doens't sell out. More stewards, more catering, etc for sections which may be less than half used. I think for the Denmark game the FAW have pretty much done it as best they can - i.e. put a section on sale one at a time, and after the better sections have already sold. For the Spain game, I think it was shocking the way that the latecomers got the middle or front of top tier while the regulars had the bottom tier.

Don’t know how you can find out how many are left, but from what I can see their are all “single seats” dotted about the stadium. There are also some hospitality seats left. Looking forward to it, but am also a little apprehensive as we have come so close on so many previous occasions. Going up a group could mean playing some big teams in the next Nations League tournament, that should be good for the players and the FAW bank balance which will help the game at grass roots level.

I understand your point about it being good for the players if they play against the best opponents, but it being good for the bank balance, I've not seen any definitive evidence of this. My understanding is that the FAW get the CCS at a 'low rate' (I've heard stories ranging from cost price to free), when the cost of the rent for the Millennium Stadium is taken into account it might be more profitable to play say, Portugal at a full CCS than a half-full MS. As for that money translating to helping the game at grass roots level, that is a whole different debate.......

We couldn't sell out the Ireland game but would sell out Germany Spain, England etc. Would also full millennium for some games too.

Playing sell-out's at CCS (with the potential of increased ticket prices) is obviously going to be good for the coffers. But is a half-full MS more profitable that a full CCS? If the cost of hiring the MS is say, the equivalent of 40k tickets being sold, the FAW are only going to make profit on any seats sold after the 40k mark. If the attendance is 70k, you have only made a profit on 30k seats i.e. the same amount as a full CCS (which is hired at zero cost).

Isn't there also prize money of something like £1.5m for winning the group? That would be massive for the FAW
