I've not yet received my tournament ticket seat in the post and starting to get twitchy... same for everyone else? Received mine last week You should normally have received it last week. Call them and they will cancel the sent ones and reprint you a new set that you can collect on match day

I've not yet received my tournament ticket seat in the post and starting to get twitchy... same for everyone else? I haven’t received mine either, same with the rest of my group. I rang the FAW on Thursday and was told should be here by Monday, if not, to then ring them up.

Don’t know how you can find out how many are left, but from what I can see their are all “single seats” dotted about the stadium. There are also some hospitality seats left. Looking forward to it, but am also a little apprehensive as we have come so close on so many previous occasions. Going up a group could mean playing some big teams in the next Nations League tournament, that should be good for the players and the FAW bank balance which will help the game at grass roots level. I understand your point about it being good for the players if they play against the best opponents, but it being good for the bank balance, I've not seen any definitive evidence of this. My understanding is that the FAW get the CCS at a 'low rate' (I've heard stories ranging from cost price to free), when the cost of the rent for the Millennium Stadium is taken into account it might be more profitable to play say, Portugal at a full CCS than a half-full MS. As for that money translating to helping the game at grass roots level, that is a whole different debate....... I wasn’t suggesting that me move the matches to the Principality Stadium, it was more a case of playing to a packed house after selling all the tickets for the games, as opposed to there being sections of the ground empty like there are on occasions. Portugal, France and the rest of the League A teams will be a greater attraction than most of the League B teams. If Wales get the ground free or at a reduced rate, then I suspect Cardiff City will be making their money on the sale of drinks and food.

sell out is on the cards then Yes. Those last tickets to shift, though the problem seems to be that as they are in the family stand , adults cannot buy tickets without buying a kid's ticket. And anyone wanting to take a kid won't be able to sit by them.

The team were scheduled to train this lunchtime in front of the press (now set for "after 2pm").
We should learn more about Bale / Neil Taylor new niggles over the weekend...

Bale, Chester, Mepham, J Lawrence and Taylor sat out training. Hopefully nothing serious, especiall for Bale, and crucial we have one of Chester or Mepham available.
Denmark are missing captain Kjaer. Excellent news for us, he is a bif of beast in defence, and a big loss for them.

I've read that Wales are monitoring Bale's situation. Indications are that the injury is nothing serious at this point. Though I remain extremely cautious.

There was talk today on the Flemish radio about James Lawrence possibly being our wild card to man mark Eriksen. They were talking about his abilities in general and he seems to be very versatile. Funnily, they still remember the job Jazz Richards did on Hazard in 2015 ;-)
They also mentioned Matt Smith, with the Dutch connection.

Madrid are probably applying pressure on Bale not to play as well.
I read some Madrid fan tweets saying Bale can have a 'rest' over the international break now to ensure he recovers properly.
I think Bale has become a luxury player for us now, and we just need to assume that going forward he wont be available.

Said to have suffered a 'knock' after 70 minutes or so and didn't look right. Couldn't be subbed, as they had already used all three subs

Bale played last night for RM. No story. That's when he picked it up. Yes, I haven't watched the game and that is unfortunate, but he would have sat out training today anyway.. that's standard when they meet up any player who played the day before. I know Ramsey trained and played yesterday, but he didn't do a full 90.

He will be all fired up on Friday and raging to go.
Very much looking forward to it ;-)

Hopefully Bale tells Real to piss off, international football isn't some kind of rest and we shouldn't bow down to clubs when it come to our players.
If it were a friendly, fair enough, but it isn't

I think Bale has become a luxury player for us now, and we just need to assume that going forward he wont be available. I agree 100% with this sadly. Also, if he were an international player for Spain, France or Croatia, he'd be getting a lot more respect and they'd be allowing him to play without much fuss. I don't see him playing on Friday but whatever happens, I think we can afford to release him before the Albania game.

Unfortunately Denmark have competent cover in Andreas Christensen. The good news is that he's barely played a minute this season.
It's still a blow for them but not catastrophic.
