It’s a good group. We are Wales and it’s never going to be a walk in the park. Even the group that Austria are in that would not be a walk in the park for us.
I remember the complete devastation I felt after the Italia 90 qualifying draw. Holland Euro Champions Van Basten, Gullit, West Germany would win Italia 90, Wales and Finland. We had a great players but struggled when there were injuries. This time it’s there for the taking.
James Lawrence our inside man with Slovakia.

Yes precisely mate draws of old and most of the Post are saying crap like tricky group ect, if we dont qualify from this group, regardless of play offs dont deserve to be there

An alternative take on the draw, in a nightmare scenario where we fail to qualify as one of the top two sides in our group, we would end up in a play off if 3 of the teams in bold qualify within the top 2 in their group:
Group B: Portugal, Ukraine, Serbia, Lithuania, Luxembourg.
Group D: Switzerland, Denmark, Republic of Ireland, Georgia, Gibraltar.
Group F: Spain, Sweden, Norway, Romania, Faroe Islands, Malta.
Group G: Poland, Austria, Israel, Slovenia, Macedonia, Latvia.
Group I: Belgium, Russia, Scotland, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, San Marino.
Group J: Italy, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Finland, Greece, Armenia, Liechtenstein.
Aside from Ukraine I can see those sides finishing comfortably within the top 2 of their groups, meaning we're very likely guaranteed at least a play off place. If we don't qualify for Euro 2020, it really will be a travesty.

I wouldn't be confident if we went to a play off anyway as our confidence would be on the floor if we don't finish top 2 in our group!

Sat here since 3pm with skyscanner and booking.com ready to go I use Trivago for booking accommodation. It is a "scraper" website for hotels, more often than not the cheapest is booking.com, but occasionally they come up with better deals on other websites.

When are the fixtures out? They were due by 4:30pm. God knows what's going on but I've been refreshing twitter for hours waiting for them.

Hopefully today but I just read on Twitter that no definitive time or day is set for release of fixtures. Sat here since 3pm with skyscanner and booking.com ready to go Cheers To be honest, for Bratislava, Budapest and Zagreb there are no obvious great connections - from Cardiff or Bristol, at least. So I really can't imagine any particular fare going up drastically today.
As for me, the main consideration is timing the flights right to catch the home game - hence some more obscure stop-overs might be called for, as flights to nearby places are much less frequent.
As for getting to Azerbaijan ... its a right pain any time of the year ;-( But September will certainly sweeten that pill ;-)

My tip after booking up Copenhagen - don't book now and rush, just wait till nearer the game, often planes go down in price or new flights are added.

My tip after booking up Copenhagen - don't book now and rush, just wait till nearer the game, often planes go down in price or new flights are added. I paid around £40 for my return Copenhagen flights from Manchester. It can be worth getting on it early. September prices are ridiculous right now though, I'm steering clear of those.

We spent 3 nights in Copenhagen and jumped one of Leigh's coaches for the game. Copenhagen flights shot up and didn't really come down.

No easy games in international football but fingers crossed we will qualify. Been to a couple of them countries (Croatia and Budapest) and they are lovely and a bonus they don't have the German currency (except Slovakia)
Lets all be positive .

Despite Slovakia having the Euro, prices there last year were MUCH cheaper than Vienna/Denmark/ROI.

We spent 3 nights in Copenhagen and jumped one of Leigh's coaches for the game. Copenhagen flights shot up and didn't really come down. I waited to book flights and still made a trip of it. £45 return from London to Aarhus. Likewise waited on the Ireland flights and got cheap return flights. Demand is going to make prices spiral in the wake of the fixtures, but where there are a number of routes available, you can usually still get reasonable deals at a later date. Sometimes the worst time to book is in the immediate aftermath of the fixture anno - unless you are VERY quick off the mark.

I tend to be quick off the mark, which is why I tend to get cheap flights more often than not. I'd rather not wait for the cheap flights to go. Also, I would've booked Copenhagen regardless of it being played in Aarhus and I know that flights didn't go down to £40 for Copenhagen. If I had waited I'd have paid far more for my flight so I don't think it's a great tip.

Drawn against drab Eastern European countries, led by a manager who still can't work out his best team. Not entirely confident here.
