Wouldn't fancy Northern Ireland personally. Capable of beating them for sure but they're a tougher prospect than the Republic and there's a number of easier teams from Pot 3 we could get.

Pot 1- Poland (or Belgium, Martinez v Giggs, it would be 7-6. They also just lost 5-2 to the Swiss) Pot 2- Wales Pot 3- Norway (So long as we avoid Slovakia, Turkey and Serbia I think we'll be fine) Pot 4- Lithuania (Avoid Romania and Greece, and apparently Albania, and we'll be fine) Pot 5- Azerbaijan (Avoid Kosovo at all costs.) Pot 6- San Marino "Avoid Kosovo at all costs". Agreed. They could develop into a pot 3 team in a few years time. Imagine if they had all the players that are eligible to play for them, they would probably be pushing to be a pot 2 team.

Certain sides will be kept apart due to restrictions put in place by UEFA. A maximum of two of the 12 host nations will be included in each group to give of the countries holding matches the opportunity to qualify for the tournament either as a group winner or runner-up. UEFA have also taken into account potential political clashes, meaning the following pairs will not be placed in the same groups: Armenia and Azerbaijan, Gibraltar and Spain, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Serbia, Ukraine and Russia. A total of 10 of the 55 competing sides have been categorised as winter venues, with UEFA stating that no more than two of the following will be included in one group: Belarus, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Russia and Ukraine. And the final restriction when it comes to the draw regards excessive travel. That is defined by UEFA as follows: A maximum of one pair of teams identified with excessive travel distance in relation to other countries will be placed in each group. Azerbaijan: with Gibraltar, Iceland, Portugal. Iceland: with Armenia, Cyprus, Georgia, Israel. Kazakhstan: with Andorra, England, France, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Iceland, Malta, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Wales. Looks like UEFA are trying to fix it before it's even began!!! So if Germany draw England then that group cannot contain (Italy/Netherlands/Spain/Romania/Scotland/Rep Ireland/Hungary/Azerbaijan OMG!!!! - How is this going work?

Amazing how quick you would get religion were it to be even close

I was sooo looking forward to getting Ukraine, and their ball got drawn in Russia's group, so it was returned to the pot. Even after a second chance, we still missed out on them and got Serbia instead :+( I will be glad when it's all over...

What happened in Albania won't happen again. You can quote me on this in a year's time if you'd like. Confident, aren't you? I could see us losing away to a pot 4 team. It would be a really poor result, but most of the results under Giggs so far have been poor. Hard to say it won't happen again. Hopefully I'm proved wrong!

Imagine if they had all the players that are eligible to play for them, they would probably be pushing to be a pot 2 team. Just to expand on this point. Here are some players that are eligible for Kosovo who didn't make the switch when they were founded. I've highlighted the clubs to show how strong their potential starting lineup could have been. Shaqiri (Liverpool) G. Xhaka (Arsenal) T. Xhaka (Basel) Behrami (Udinese) Januzaj (Sociedad) Dzemaili (Bologna) Hetemaj (Chievo) Tarashaj (Everton) Adding in the players they do have. Rashica (Werder Bremen) Berisha (Lazio) Muric (Man City) Plus they have many players throughout their squad who aren't playing in the big 5 leagues, but are still playing at a decent level in European football. I think they'd definitely qualify for the euros with all those players available to them.

Celina is Swansea's most talented player - so if Connor Roberts can do a job for Wales I'm sure Celina could do one for Kosovo.

Anyone know if the fixtures are also being released on 2nd Dec? Possibly but in previous campaigns it was decisions within group and then go back to Uefa / Fifa is no agreement.
Likely Uefa will specify date a specific group will play, give people a time to agree and then revert to a standard model if they don't.

What is best way to fly from X to Y and does it mean a stop there.................. on god that will take hours. What is best pubs to meet beforehand. Will Leigh's buses be running there.
Can I get a ticket as have done 3 away in last 2 years and have a TT in the Canton but did all the Euro's. When will applications open for tickets and will FAW have collect in city and how many places and will it stop harvesting. Should I buy ticket in away end just in case.
Then it will change to
Well Y were previously good until Xahic retired and they have failed to get results since but new coach has been working hard and has a good rep so 3 easy points away.............. unless Giggs picks wrong formation and we end up doing an Albania....... oh god my heart can't stand this. T team had a poor World cup and haven't done anything since so we should get 6 points there etc etc
This will be time when HOPE is there for everyone before the harsh reality of the despair of qualification takes off in March.

All the restrictions on which teams can draw each other are a nonsense. Seedings aside it should be a completely open draw. If any country cannot host another for political reasons then the game should be held in a neutral country, behind closed doors if necessary.
As for teams not travelling too far - what a joke! Itโs not like theyโre expected to travel the continent on a Shamrock Shopper. Plus Iโm sure our fans would love trips to Iceland, Russia and Azerbaijan.
