Always feel its a bit fanciful to expect everyone to get into the ground early tbh. Personally I prefer to go in early but when you're with a relatively big bunch of lads, it just isn't going to happen is it? Different matter if you're with kids etc of course. With the 2pm kick off time, I think it'll be harder to get people in early if anything, as a lot of fans will want to squeeze a few pints in first. Be that as it may, pushing to get everyone in the ground early may mean a larger number entering the ground early, reducing queues 15 minutes before the match and getting more in the ground for the anthems and pre match atmosphere.

If the beer was better at the ground would get in early Have previously shared this feedback with CCFC

I think the far corners of the upper tier 511 and 517 will go on sale in the next couple of days - meaning as things stand a total of approx 1200 seats to sell in the upper deck. Other than that, it's only the expensive level 4 tickets which have anything other than singles.
Does anyone know if blocks 123 or 119 (by the away fans) will go on sale to Wales fans, or will these be segregation? If these aren't going to be put on sale, then tell anyone to buy their tickets in the next couple of days (i.e. don't leave it till the weekend), or they may miss out.

Last game at CCS there were loads still coming up the stairs during the anthem.
Stupid. Why would you risk missing that for one more rushed beer?

Queues getting in the gates are always a nightmare at CCS for Wales games.

I've come close to it once by being far too naive, and I wouldn't risk it again. It's not worth it at all. I'll be in the ground early on Sunday. There's no harm in getting a couple of pints in there as all the pubs nearby serve in plastic cups anyway.

The Prince of Wales near the station opens for breakfast from 7am, even on Sundays. A large breakfast was £5.50 and coffee was £1.10 last time I was in there. Their coffee is a very decent bottomless Lavazza and I assume they also sell alcohol...

Missed the anthems and first 10 mins of the last game and was bouncing. Got caught in traffic in the City Ctr, parking was a mare and on top of the that my kids had a bust up in the car. The time before that they passed the flag over our heads during the anthem and that spoilt the flow of the song. I aim to be there early and hope there’s no messing about with flags tc so we can have a fantastic inspiring rendition of the anthem. It’s going to be a tough match, but we can do it.

I don't drink before games, but don't like getting to the ground too early - hate the nerves of waiting around for KO!
If I'm in between 7.15 and 7.30 then that's ideal for me.

Slovakia squad seems unbalanced.
Pekarik at RB with 85 caps the most experienced defender. Skriniar the star CB. Other than that none of their CB options have more than 6 caps. The only LB in the squad is uncapped and apparently a surprise inclusion in the squad.
The midfield is their strong point, plenty of experience. We all know Hamsik, but Duda the one to watch out for. Scored against us in the Euros, has 9 goals in 17 games in the Bundesliga this season. They'll almost certainly play 5 across the midfield.
Up front they're light, with Zrelak out injured. Likely that Duris will start (5 goals in 41 caps). Has 8 goals this season in the Cypriot first division.

I'm curious where you got your info from on the current squad, as I've struggled to find out info on their squad for their double-header against Hungary and ourselves.

I agree, I hate missing the anthem, and I've missed it twice at the CCS due to traffic and stadium queues.
Not as bad the Millennium, where I was 15 mins late, so I made up for it by leaving 15 mins early. The only time I've left a game early, and hopefully the last.

Their midfield of Hamsik, Duda and Kucka isn't going to be a walk in the park to play against. They have lots of experience and will certainly gear their style of play around getting the best out of these three, so I expect them to try and keep the ball and take the sting out of the game with a lot of slow build up play. Their winger Robert Mak also has 50 caps and plays for Zenit so he could be a threat too. The midfield battle will be crucial, but I do think that our ability to break on them when we win possession is something they won't be able to match. An early goal for us could really make it difficult for them for the rest of the 90.
