Salford brought in Alex Cairns on loan from Fleetwood Town and appears Tom King has been dropped to second choice.

That Cardiff City youngster that just debuted for their u23s at the age of 15/16 looks like a prospect. Kept a clean sheet and from one of the clips I saw, had Ederson-like distribution!

Edit: 'Ederson-like distribution' might be overdoing it, but look at the pass out for their goal:

Apparently Wolves are looking at him as a possible third choice keeper for their premier league squad.

Admittedly third choice isn’t ideal but as they are a Premiership club, it does shed a bit of light on why he often gets called up as a back up, even if most of us are scratching our heads.

Wayne or Adam Davies don't start and I can see Leicester dropping Ward to the bench so he'll just be on par with everyone else

Like both Wayne and Adam he will only play a hand full games all season. Imo Wayne is vertually finished at 35/36 and Ward and Davies need to drop the the championship and play regularly. Not looking good for our International goal keeping options

On paper looks like a great move but he's essentially resigned to the fact he'll be playing a Scott Carson role at Wolves. I guess that's basically what he does for us, been thinking we probably just call him up so we have 4 keepers for 2 training games at a time in training.

I'd like to see a young prospect called up to that role but it's a lot to ask at short notice when they may be trying to cement their place at a club team.

Owen Evans is a regular GK at Walsall in League Two. Still only 25 which is young for a GK. For me he is a must include in the squad given all our other GKs are number 2s at their respective clubs

I'd expect Ward to move to a Championship club this summer. If he does my choice of GKs would be 1st Ward, 2nd Evans, 3rd Wayne moving forward

Adam Davies has no business in the squad whilst he's a number 2
