Aren’t they conditional tickets though? I.e. if your team does not qualify you get a refund? Therefore only the fans of the teams in the semis will have the tickets not everybody who has applied They are. At a guess, it'll be 16k tickets for the final and 12k tickets for each semi final, so based on that logic, 3k fans can get a pair of conditional tickets each. That sounds perfectly logical. If so, then everyone in phase one tomorrow can safely click on Fans First for Semi/Final - which is a massive saving... ... That said, I made a €50 profit on my Final ticket refund with the exchange after Brexit ... and it looks pretty nailed on that we will have the same currency flyctuation this Summer -

My only question on fans first is, were these only available in first tranche of uefa tickets on general sale or available to the associations in their allocations?

I've input my passport number on my account, however I'll need to renew my passport before the euros therefore I'll have a new number. Anyone know whether I can update my passport number after purchasing tickets? I don't want to have to wait to renew my passport and account details before buying tickets in case they sell out.

UEFA don’t have access to people’s passport numbers. You could put anyone’s in. Anyway, surely there’s no way they’re going to expect every fan to produce a passport with their ticket at the turnstile.

Anyone know the difference between fans first and cat 3 tickets? I can’t do a follow your team this time so will pick and choose. Are fans first FYT only? you know how much is the follow your team option? I believe fans first was that customers that bought their tickets through the 1st portal before the draw was made in June this year Booking in summer and getting them I chose Cat2's because knew I could get upgraded to Cat 1s if there was mega demand, it cost an arm and a leg but will not be spending mega time on portal as have 4 games in Dublin which is what I wanted. A reasonable estimate is 250-300 portal hours in 2016............. will not be doing it again.
I will add games in Bilbao if I can.
IF we get through playoffs then my attendance record is good enough to get tickets for Ireland games so can tout the tickets at many times over face value....................
Ok the reality is family in Ireland and Polish friends will be using as my view on touts would get me banned for bad language.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned on here already but you’ll need passport details of your “guest” as well as yourself if you’re buying two tickets for a game. It’s in the ticketing details small print on UEFA site and also been shared on twitter. it says passport/id - anyone know if you can use any ID other than a passport? A driving licence with a picture for example. My friend who i am hoping to buy a ticket for alongside mine, doesn't have a valid passport. Passport is passport, many people who will apply for tickets will change, lose passport before games. A drivers license is also a valid ID.
Demanding you get a new passport when just want tickets for Wembley would give them issues so just use what you have.

I've seen that 40000 tickets are going on sale in total for the semis and final in the fans first category. I don't want to sound negative, but 20 teams have already qualified for the Euros - so surely that means 2,000 tickets per country? Are they not conditional tickets so could be 300,000 tickets initially sold of which only 40,000 will be used.

UEFA don’t have access to people’s passport numbers. You could put anyone’s in. Anyway, surely there’s no way they’re going to expect every fan to produce a passport with their ticket at the turnstile. If purchasing conditional tickets weren’t they being checked on collection? I can’t rememebr

Your passport number and details are used to confirm who you say you are when applying.
After you have applied and been allocated tickets there is no requirement to go near the Uefa site to update anything. You may get asked if needing to pick up conditional tickets to provide copy of passport but you will should have old one with you just in case.

FAW might ask you for passport verification if they suspicious of application but trust me you want them to do this to root out some people.

Aside from 1st tickets at WC all the rest I picked up from a machine, just make sure you have same payment card number.

I don’t see how uefa can tell who you are by your passport number? Surely the authorities are the only people that can do that.

You are applying via Wales Portal for UEFA tickets, IF there is any concern I believe it will get raised with FAW first. You have a British passport so that tells where you are from. I wouldn't over think it as they just want to make sure valid ID is there.

Thought so, so it is important to have the correct number on the portal As I actually changed my Passport early in 2016, I traveled with both. And that was ok. So I'd say, as long as you have your old passport with you - no problem
