What is everyone going for then? Single match tickets or follow your team route?

Why? If you've had 2 home season tickets you still need 4 aways. Did you think it should he higher or lower? It should be higher - unless there’s actually a filter within the 26-51. I have 43, and someone on 26 should not be the same level as me given the amount of harvesting that went on. Must confess that I agree. On 47 points and I will be mighty disappointed if I can not get Cat 3 tickets for our 1/4, semi and Final! Bad enough spending near enough £500 on air tickets up to the semis - but then another £300 on a football ticket is not gonna make me happy...

Especially as we're going to the final and won't get the refund! But seriously, I agree, I'm on 43 but I'm just hoping that there's enough to go around which is why they've made Stage 1 so large. Guess we'll see in the next few days.

Don't you think that all of the people from 26-51 points can get cat 3 tickets? that's why we are getting the codes the same time?

I think there will be enough tickets available for all games for everyone to get what they ask for. Don't think demand is going to be anywhere near 2016 because of the carve up/ cock up by the authorities and the logistics of getting to the host venues.

I think it's probably been done like this for reasons of practicality by the FAW, I.e. the resources it would take to send out the codes, every couple of hours as they went through the points totals.

Is there an option to be upgraded again if a Category sells out?

I can't find the e-mail address for my FAW account, sent 'forgot password' to 2 diff emails I use but had nothing in spam or anywhere. My sister always books my tickets by linking my membership number on their website.
Does anyone know if my access code will be e-mailed to my sister? or just my e-mail address?
Confused.com!!!!!!! I bloody hate technology!

Bit peeved at the lack of response on my email about already having a ticket (I've tried UEFA and the FAW ticket office). I'm on 45 points, went to every match over the last 2 campaigns and there's a chance I won't be able to buy a RO16 ticket because of some stupid rule preventing somebody from buying a ticket for both. I'd give my RO16 ticket in Glasgow away for free if it meant I'd have a conditional ticket for our RO16 game instead.
The English FA have put out a communication about this, why are we lagging behind?

So can one member apply for tickets on behalf of another member? One memmber can apply for anyone as the point of it so that under 16 can go as well

So can one member apply for tickets on behalf of another member? No, my understanding is a member can buy 2, so to guarantee buy one for you and your mate together in one purchase Or, whoever buys first shares a code for the other so uefa can try and sit you together?

I know that logic and UEFA are not exactly hand in hand ... but one would assume that the not being able to buy more than 4 (or in our case 2) tickets per match can ONLY POSSIBLY apply to the group stage! We have FIVE different venue options for the R16 and ALL FOUR 1/4 finals ... It is inconceivable - even by UEFA standards - to assume that WALES, with a mere 8% chance of being in the Glasgow R16, will disqualify you ... If I am right, its 16% chance of being in Bucharest - but I am no statistician ...

I have a friend offering to get the tickets through to the final for me, so I may take his offer up to reduce risk. Wouldn't mind a response from UEFA though!

I remember oscardelta explaining quite elaborately how easy it was for FIFA to connect Fan ID to the ticket name holder - and I assume Azerbaijan will adopt that Russian system?
By all means, try to use your friends CODE when logging into the portal, but I would assume having all the tickets in your friend's name is going to be a major headache, especially when it comes for the knock-out stages...

Sorry, I meant he's planning on getting 2 tickets for each game and I'll have his 2nd. I'll try that email.

Eh no
Having a Ticket number meant you could apply for a Fan ID, however many fans ended up in Russia using same ticket number as their friends. All it checked was whether it was a valid ticket number.
There were checks at "some" stadiums where officials demanded FAN ID and Tickets IDs match. That ended very quickly when security were told that IF it is a valid Ticket they must be let in and if a valid Fan ID they must be let in but no requirement for them to be connected.
Security was tight and all tickets and Fan IDs were checked BUT there was no linkage as we swapped tickets and it was ignored, swapped FAN IDs and immediately got stopped.
Basically swipe Ticket and FAN ID at same time, both valid you get through turnstile, next was security who had original FAN ID picture up on screen and you walking though, different they stopped. In this case as we in at same time they just said switch your bloody IDs back FFS. Next stage was airport style scanners.
It was quick but we got in early aside from Sochi where we tavelled a whole day and got in 20 mins before start.

Are these codes gonna be specific to our FAW email accounts anybody reckon or whoever gets them will be able to use it? Access codes are for personal use only and allocated to specific FAN numbers. "If an access code is shared with anyone else, those tickets will be cancelled." According to the England Supporters Club. But it seems they are doing a ballot whereas for us it seems like purchasing there and then.

Based on this I may have to use other means to get tickets to Spain v Poland and potentially Spain v ROI (assumming we get there) as have Poland v Sweden in Dublin at same time.
Maybe will look at applying for sepcific games as didn't see that option that is there from Wednesday.
Question is whether tickets are immediately allocated and buy there and then or do they wait until all applications in.

I don't know why it's staged. Ticket applications work in the same way as last time. To quote the FAW "Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis and there is a maximum of 2 tickets per Red Wall member. "

Will it be a case that those submitted first will get tix?
