I put him in the category of "hope he makes it to our seniors purely on his name alone" along with;
Chris Popov Adam Pryzbek Levent Gundogan Pablo Martinez

It’s a ruthless game these days He only has to look at Ampadu to realise what a poor move that would be for his development. To be fair, Ampadu was given quite a few opportunities for Chelsea under Conte when he was 17/18, and then went out on loan to RB Leipzig, Sheffield Utd, and Venezia. Had he shown enough in those loan spells, I'm sure he would have got a more meaningful run out in the team similar to Mount, Chalobah and Sarr following their loan spells. The truth is, unfortunately, that Ampadu has done alright in his last couple of loan spells, but certainly not enough to show he should be starting for one of the best teams in the world. Important to be honest and realistic about these things.

He may have been in a few squads, but that's hardly opportunities? I firmly believe if he was at a club where he would have been developed internally and given chances, instead of being sent out on unsettling loans, he'd be a better player by now. He is still in a great position though.

Wiki only shows league appearances, not Cup, use Soccerbase and you'll find all the correct information on Ethan on there. It doesn't really matter what he does on loan, Chelsea have Ballon D'or nominees playing in the position Ethan was bought for, Kante and Jorginho, at his age he was always up against it, especially with the managerial merry go around that has gone on there. No young player should sign for Chelsea though, they already have a very productive youth system but none of them really make it at Chelsea so all you are doing is becoming part of a loan system that they have to usually make money from you at the expense of your development in a more settled environment. Yes Mount, James and Chalobah have come through in recent years but it's literally them since Jody Morris in the 90's.

I know nothing about Bianchieri, what’s his position, where is he from etc? Is he a Cardiff lad?

Very little info on the net apart from a three year old Twitter from (presumably) his mum about him playing under 13 for Cardiff and the Vale schools. Soccerway have him as English but isn't everybody from Britain in the eyes of an American!!

Reports on Twitter. Saw on Google that he went to Corpus Christi Catholic High School in Cardiff. Got to be fairly local to Cardiff at least.

I know nothing about Bianchieri, what’s his position, where is he from etc? Is he a Cardiff lad? He's a forward. Apparently he terrorised Arsenal a few weeks back and was clearly the best player on the pitch. He played in the Wales u16 tournament against Brazil, Turkey and Spain in April. Some decent results for the Welsh youngsters, he scored a penalty in one of the matches. youtu.be/zsIDQuUU2SsComes on in this match vs Brazil, #19. The goal vs Arsenal is on his Instagram. http://instagram.com/p/Cdls1cdqRFC

On the bench for the u21’s today - DS reported he’s training with the first team.
Not long turned 16. Could be one to keep an eye on.

Came on today for the u21s, didn't score but impressed and looked a natural striker. Hopefully he can develop, always promising when players are playing up a level and nice to see a striker rather than a general "forward"

Another talent gone for next to nothing. I think it's fair for Cardiff to question the point of academies if their players keep being poached. Both Crew and Biancheri from the same side gone already with PL clubs sniffing around others.

It's gutting to lose yet another promising youngster for peanuts, but ultimately it's just another consequence of playing in a foreign league and being at the whim of a foreign governing body that doesn't, and never will, have our best interest at heart.

Just by his forename alone you get a sense of an Italian identity in the family. Moving to Manchester so young will also challenge his cultural identity. Being at Man United will also put him on Italy and England’s radar so all in all, just on the face of it, I’d be giving long odds on him making it through unscathed to turn out for Wales seniors unfortunately

Interesting and good to hear…speaking as someone from a family where my dad impressed on me my family’s Welsh heritage (in spite of my English birthplace and hometown) I know how strong cultural ties can be over place of birth. Hopefully he sticks with Wales then

He'll be working with David Hughes again, ex head of academy at Cardiff and Wales B international

I'd be more concerned had he gone to, say, Juve
It's promising so many Welsh youngsters are being looked at by PL clubs, if disheartening as a Cardiff fan to lose our best prospects
As an aside, is this the legacy of Euro 16? Biancheri would have been around 10 at the time

Now that Bale retired, we’re all of a sudden insecure about players playing for us. But these were kids that saw us reach a semi final of a major tournament. Not like we’re on a 20 year bad run or something.
