Fair play, Cabango has done really well. I've had doubts about Morrell too but he's been everywhere tonight. Could we just sacrifice a day of training and focus 100% on teaching James to finish? Get Bale, Rush to show him stuff, tell Henry has pro licence will be cancelled if his doesn't help turn James into a finisher. Whatever it takes. We all knew James wouldn’t score than 9 times out of 10 |

random point but what the hell has happened to turkey,going from beating france and being a team to worry about when we played in the euros to losing to luxembourg and drawing with faroe islands at half time,i know they are top of the group but still a little crazy

He did everything right though, the keepers expecting you to shoot for the sides, shoot straight down the keepers throat will catch them by surprise. |

Agree it's the ebb and flow of football,and even if they would never admit it i think poland think they are a better football team that us

We seem to perform demolition jobs on teams that English media brand as "ones to watch" or "dark horses". |

They're rolling around holding their head all the freaking time, the fact they aren't injured is why I said they are a bunch of fannies. I get that every team does it but I've rarely seen it to this extent, the ball was hardly in play for 5 minutes at one point because they kept falling over every time they were touched. I'd say the same if Wales were doing it to this extent, it's like watching Atletico Madrid but on steroids. Best not mention Connor Roberts pathetic dive and holding his head when he got shoulder charged at best Well, the precedent had already been set long before then |

i thought after the first ten minutes levitt has got it,good fast passes but then poland woke up and he faded,guess thats from being with a team that gets shagged to often,to easy to fade into the distance,time he stepped up and realised if he has it or not,i stillkinda think he does,but maybe he is a flat track bully,no good for us

I'm basically saying I wouldn't like to see us play like that without provocation. Even the BBC match thread page mentioned the Pole's antics because it was that bad. Ordinarily I'd think Robert's actions would be pretty pathetic but under provocation I have sympathy, although I think he has made himself look a liability tonight and in the past with his temperament. Yeah I guess you could see it as being streetwise and I accept to a certain extent it's part of the game...but when it's every single touch like it was in the first 20 minutes then that's just sheer bastardry and the ref needs to be stamping it out by just playing on. That's not to excuse the performance as a whole. We've been very poor and haven't deserved anything from the game. |

They've played this ref perfectly, but it's obvious our problem is goal scoring, the clear chance James had first half was crucial as the Poles would have given up like they usually do, instead we fail where it matters, hitting the onion bag.
