I'm convinced, after seeing that interview, that Eddie Beach is going to be between the sticks within two years. The confidence of the boy, Alan McKnight remarked on his career stating that being a goalkeeper is 70% confidence and 30% ability, McKnight lost his much in the same way that Ward has appeared to be losing his. Eddie Beach has basically said it's on, it's happening, it's only a matter of time, he's going to be in goal for Wales, lad! Got to be honest I had to Google who he was. Hopefully he can push on and do well. Bought back memories of Rhys Taylor who I was always expecting to eventually come through for us. What brought back memories of Rhys Taylor for you? The fact they both played for Chelsea youth/reserves? He always looked dodgy. |

When he was coming through I was at an age where I thought he was at Chelsea as he was going to make it as a World class keeper. I was gutted it never came to be. |
