My prediction is that Moore scores the winner from a Morrell assist and Elon buys Apostle for half a billion pounds after he sees the meltdown on here haha

Decent showing so far to be fair, Wilson working hard, and Ampadu has been our best player so far. Johnson has been quiet, and I would like to see us move the ball out from defence a bit more.

These South Koreans are quite sly. Always putting something extra on our lads.

Morrell and Moore rested.Mmm. I’d say that it’s already agreed that they’ll come on at a certain time to rest the others for Monday. **cough**

JJ looks comfortable, couple of good passes.
Wilson should have shot on 2 mins rather than passing
Happy-ish

Yep, giving Morrell 45 minutes ahead of Sheehan definitely makes sense. Definitely...
Johnson didn't have his best 45, hopefully that's out of his system for Monday. I do think this kind of shape works better with a target man, our spell of using general "forwards" up there never really clicked aside from the Ireland game under Giggs

Is Burns right footed? Shocking delivery from the left.

Looking much sharper, Page is making substitutions before injury time, too!

Solid enough, nice to get a clean sheet. Thought Jordan James did well for his first start, hopefully he partners Ampadu on Monday

Decent showing, probably deserved the victory. Liked the 3-4-2-1 shape in possession, meant that the passing move for that Wilson chance in the first half involved passes of no more than 10 metres.

Take that into Monday we shouldn’t be far off.

Not great
One thing massively lacking was pace. Not saying he is great but Matando does at least have that in abundance. Yet I watch lower Championship players who clearly do not have the quality to play at this level and a third division player who is suspended play. Why the hell not try him out for 20 mins - I do despair. Its like players are ahead of the quo and cannot be jumped over
I know some will say that was far better but come on we created chances just throwing the ball in the box. It is boring watching Wales and the worst thing is the lack of dynamism in the transition or up front. Only this coaching set up could make Johnson pointless on a pitch.

I noticed Morrell, as he almost walked us into trouble a couple of times

Only caught the 2nd half but thought we looked a lot more steady
However using that system without Moore is a big no no for me. It needs a focal point

Championship players who clearly do not have the quality to play at this level I think playing out a 0-0 draw kind of proves that they do have the quality to play at this level. 0-0 : No better and no worse than the opposition. That's exactly the level tonight. It's not the level of Argentina and it's not the level of San Marino. The Championship is a very high quality league, and "international level" is a myth.

Chris Mepham to start on the right wing after that dribble and cross for Moore that hit the post.
Also, I liked Gwennan's quite at half time "Connor Roberts is in no man's land"

Also, I liked Gwennan's quite at half time "Connor Roberts is in no man's land" He's the player who has the biggest disparity between his club performances and his international performances. I'd be tempted to start Neco at RWB when RND returns or a decent LWB appears

James looked good, it was solid but didn't really ask questions until Moore came on. I like Johnson but I hate when we play our most dangerous players up front, back to goal and struggle to get support.
I thought Broadhead struggled. Don't think he's ready to start conpetitive.

Connor hasn't been great of late for sure, but the contrast in support to Neco compared th Connor is light and day, both in attack and defence. Having Davies inside Neco and the hardworking Dan James in front gives Neco the freedom to express himself. Wilson and Mepham in contrast doesn't give Connor the same platform. Hopefully the return of Brooks will help Connor back to his best.

To be fair it was Broadhead that put Wilson through on goal first half. I doubt he'll start out in Latvia.

I'd be tempted to start Neco at RWB when RND returns or a decent LWB appears RND was making good strides before his awful injury and would likely have been close to replacing him by now. I think no man's land describes Connor's situation for Wales. I really enjoyed watching him in the past but everything seems half hearted in a kind of weird way now. He did improve in the second half and maybe he is having problems adapting to Wales's system? I am sure he cares deeply but the coaches perhaps need to provide him with more clarity as to his role

Agree. Lost the ball a lot and silly effort shooting straight at a defender when he had created no space - that is how you can be caught on the break as the ball can go anyway Think he is a player you maybe bring on with a few mins left if you are desperate for a goal as he does not link things up very well / contribute enough at this moment

Decent game to watch tbf, plenty of positives:
- Seemed more assured in defence, albeit it was pretty tame from the Koreans. - JJ looked decent and didn't put a foot wrong - would be interested to see how he does starting in a competitive game - Ampadu our best player overall. - Wilson had a very good game imo and I wouldn't have an issue with him starting over Ramsey in that role vs Latvia
The negatives:
- Johnson. Completely anonymous. Maybe he was saving himself for Tuesday and his new career at Tottenham, but dissappointing to see a 45m player basically do nothing for the whole first half. - Connor Roberts channeling his inner Gunter by becoming a pass back master. I don't know what's happened to him, but questions need to be asked if he should be starting at RWB now. Far too negative and lacking in attacking attitude for that position. - Did we really need to see Moore and Morrell for 45 mins? I for one didn't. - Sheehan deserved more game time - Broadhead I think is a very average footballer at the moment, however I worry that Page will continue playing him over others purely based on that Croatia goal.
